Life's mysteries never fail to blow my mind. Seriously, just think about it! Technology is getting so advanced these days, especially in science. It's opening up all sorts of new opportunities for growth and development that were unheard of before. I mean, science really changes our lives, doesn't it? It helps both individuals and society as a whole. So, if I want to be a part of this innovation train and make tomorrow better for everyone, I gotta get the right knowledge under my belt. That's why I see this internship as a stepping stone to a brighter career.
Right now, I'm a senior honor student working on my B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong in Bangladesh. Back in high school, Biology was my major jam, and I did pretty well if I do say so myself. During my honors program, I got to work as a Junior Research Intern with the Disease Biology and Molecular Epidemiology Research Group (DBME) in Chittagong. And man, did I dive into seminars, conferences, and workshops! I've bagged awards for poster presentations, oral presentations, and even some cool idea generation stuff.
When it comes to future research interests, I'm all about Molecular Biology, Oncology, CRISPR Tech, Stem Cell Biology—oh man! There's also Nanotechnology, Epidemiology, Genomics... Bioinformatics! The list goes on.
You know what they say about internships—they're like test-driving a career without any serious commitments. That's what AJOU MST International Intern Program feels like to me—a new adventure where I can explore more research opportunities in my field. This program? It's gonna help me see things differently.
One big thing I'm hoping to gain here is fresh knowledge. Sure it'll boost my resume but more importantly—I get real-life experience too! Whatever career path you choose; networking's the magic sauce for success—don't you think? This program'll definitely help me connect with folks professionally.
That's why this intern program really excites me—it's like driving towards the future world powered by scientific research smarts!
The research teams I'd love working with are led by Dr. Kim Wook & Dr. Choi Sangdun.
Dr. Kim Wook dives into diabetes & cancer biology—two major public health issues right here in Bangladesh—and being able contribute positively there is one big research goal for me!
And then there's Dr.Choi Sangdun whose focus includes stem cell research & CRISPR/Cas9—really solid tech making waves everywhere nowadays—and studying life from its molecular roots has always fascinated me; so working alongside these researchers? Pure gold!
I can't even begin describing how stoked I am about AJOU University's Intern Program 'cause it aligns perfectly with my interests! If your university gives me chance—I’d consider it such an amazing privilege.
