Catholic Mission: Help for Those Who Need It

Catholic mission is a fundraiser for poverty, they are currently active around the world. Trying to improve young people’s lives and help them dream more, instead of having a farm life. Catholic mission helps poverty by providing education to families who can’t afford education for their children. The organization is people who make a real and lasting difference in lives around the world. 

Founded in 1822. Even 197 years ago. From a lay single woman named Pauline Jaricot, from today's Catholic mission is the Pope’s own mission organization. The organization has multiple agencies providing funds for churches throughout Africa, Asia, and the pacific parts of South America. They even have been to abandon places to help them, every donation we give they try their best to help more people around the world. A bible verse that is very similar to their mission is the passage ‘Proverbs 19:17’. This scripture conveys the message to support the poverty and the needy, not only help them financially but to speak up for them as there is not only just one person living in poverty in this planet but there are many others.

I believe the Catholic mission clearly demonstrates this, not only helping the poor financially but giving a voice to the poor. Every bit of money even a dollar can become academic material, boarding food and healthcare, freshwater, a water tank, not only that but the heroes who offer themselves to assist the seminaries They currently operate and support 1,100 dioceses per 160 countries. Catholic Mission is one of the top influencers of changing poverty, such as there has been significant progress towards the target of halving extreme poverty by 2015, with people only living in 1 dollar a day. Having dropped from 32 percent (1.25 billion) in 1990 to 980 million people living in poverty in 2004. 2004 was 15 years ago! Wonder about the progress they are making today in 2019.

As these statistics show Catholic mission is clearly no joke, and so are their donators who truly made an impact without them Catholic mission would of haven’t made such impressive progress throughout the years. The organization realizes the money they make can not only be beneficial gain but to help others who truly need it.

One Catholic Social Teaching (CST) that Catholic Mission is quite closely linked with is that of Cohesion. Catholic mission, as the name indicates is about helping out all people around the World and helping out whoever is needing assistance. We are called to support the neediest people of the earth; to relieve their miserable discomfort and to establish the alteration of their condition for life. We stand together in Cohesion for a similar cause of helping others. We pursue to comprehend the situation of the poor and work alongside them to reach the fullness of enlightenment.

As all this information is shown Catholic Mission is clearly an organization that helps out the people who are unfortunate in this world. This is as clear as they are literally trying to assist everyone in this world. They are following God’s wishes by helping the poverty in this world. The organization acts selfishly for the less fortunate, and in hopes to give them the poverty the best life Catholic Mission can give. That is why I believe helping the cause may have a true difference to the world and can improve economics in that part of society that can thrive.
