Positives on good customer service

In my opinion, good customer service is vital because it helps companies gain the power to persuade loyal customers to continue to be. Loyal customers are bound to recommend the company to their families and friends. For Adidas, it will increase its customer base. Finally, Consumer care can increase brand satisfaction for them, customer engagement, and increased sales.

Adidas having good customer service may be a vital element when keeping customers feeling appreciated and loyal. Adidas's letting their customer service get worse might be a plus for their competition Nike, a business establishment that also sells sportswear. When it involves revenue, the brand has much more revenue and platform than Adidas and within the global sports footwear industry as a full.

In 2018 the revenue they gained from footwear equated to $24.2 billion. However, Adidas had revenue of $15 billion from their footwear. When it comes to the sales increase, Adidas sneakers have added $5.8 billion since 2015, rising at an overall value of 17.6 percent, while Nike shoes have only added $4.3 billion at an overall 6.8 percent.

Furthermore, if Adidas' has awful customer service, it will lead to an advantage for Nike and lead to a loss of profit, their reputation will damage so they will start losing a loyal customer.

Adidas wins when it comes to embracing a commercial style that relies more on streetwear footwear by 'cooler' collaborations with music and entertainment influencers such as Kanye West and Beyonce compared to Nike's more sporty approach. Clearly, with the athletic movement shifting sportswear from the gym to the Adidas office, they are hoping that they will grab even more of the market with this strategy.

Evaluation of how important customer service is for brand awareness

Since buyers gravitate toward brands with impressive reputations, brand value has an impact on market volume. For example, as Adidas introduces a new product, consumers immediately start purchasing it, even though it is typically more expensive than comparable goods from rivals.

A bad customer experience can create a negative brand impression in the eyes of customers. However, an excellent customer experience affects creating brand views. The influence of social media will massively increase or decrease these attitudes as well.

Dissatisfied consumers are much more likely to warn others about their bad encounters with Adidas due to human nature. Customers who are pleased with them are less inclined to go out of their way to warn anyone about it. Then Adidas will have to spend more money on trying to gain their loyal customers back and persuading more than before that they are a trustworthy company through advertising campaigns to gain back their image which takes a lot of time and money.

That is why Adidas needs to go beyond and create loyal clients, but it is also vital for them to do the basic things that customers need, such as provide a convenient way for them to get reliable and polite support when they need it. Setting and fulfilling goals for any business is a vital aspect of brand growth.

Moreover, Adidas increasing their brand awareness can help them become the first choice for customers buying. People are more likely to purchase from Adidas if they know that they receive excellent customer service.
