The frequent consumption of fast foods among people in their teens and in their twenties may point out the specific qualities of different types of fast foods. In addition to that, during the transition from primary school to secondary school, kids in high school become relatively more independent and have easy access to unhealthy dietary choices. The dietary habits of the youth are of significant importance because for their entire life span, their dietary behaviors are most likely to remain stable. In order to control fast-food consumption, special attention must be given to the interventions designed for teenagers.

Understanding the basis of healthy eating can help policy makers, experts, and families make better decisions on the dietary habits of the younger generations and prevent the likely health threats associated with fast foods by coming up with appropriate circumstances.
