God actively involved in is his creation from the time he made it to today’s society. Every Christian lives by this belief, I live by his belief always have, this is the whole reason why I want to become a chaplain. I love hearing about how this belief is engaged with the concept and the job description of being a chaplain. This essay will discuss how God is very active in all creation and how this belief will impact my future vocation.
God created the heavens and earth in six days (Genesis 1:1-31). “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). He made us into his image, he raised us from the dust of the earth and breathed life into us. ” May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works” (Psalm 104:31), God delights in that he has made from the beginning of time until now.
God has always been in involved in all that he has made from the time of Adam and Eve till now. He has used unique men and women of the bible for his purpose and will. He has stayed with them in their times of failure to their times of triumph, he has always been by their side. God has even uses Satan and his demons in his master plans, from the time that Job had everything taken away from him to make a point of God’s children will praise him even at their lowest point, which Satan had no idea God was using him to make an impact on Job’s life. God has always been at work in life of all his creation and he will continue to until the time Jesus comes back.
God I believe has called me to become a chaplain, to be in the line of ministry. He has given me the heart to help those in need to come closer to him, he is molding my life constantly for this very reason. (Romans 12:8) If your gift is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. This is my gift, my life, my heart and my career; this is my calling from the Lord and I am going to answer that call.
This call that God has placed in my life is one that can be used to help in his ultimate plan. I will be able to help others in their time of need, ministering to them. I will be able to do a part of what Jesus did minister to those around him sharing the good news of the gospel. Speaking to others about the love of Christ and that had given us his most precious gift (John 3:16). My career will be based on ministering to others about the belief that God is alive and well active in life of all that he has made.
Lastly, God made all that is in heaven above to all that is here on the earth below. He had and still has a plan for all that he created, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”(Jeremiah 29:11). He give his soon to die on a cross for our sins, now does that sound like a God who is not involved in any part of his creation? The answer is no, God has always been there and always will be for those who need, call and trust in him. That is the belief that will help me to be successful in what God has planted in my heart to be.
