As our long, strange break was extended week after week, the truth began to settle in: I was never going back to college. Not as a college student anyway. That part of my life had ended, and I have never had a chance to say goodbye to it. So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following thoughtful persons who helped me in finishing this degree.
First of all, thanks to our Almighty Father, for giving me the strength needed to transcend/surpass all the obstacles and the trials that I have met and for giving me enough knowledge to be able to finish this. This is all from You and for You.
To my parents, Mama and Papa, thank you for always supporting me, for providing all my needs and for always believing that I could. Your love has brought me a long way. I still I wish I could give you the chance to hear my name ring out and see me walk across that stage and receive my diploma. I love you both and I will be forever grateful for the unconditional love and support. I hope I made you proud.
To Joyse, Joslei, Jojo, and Mommy Addie, thank you for always helping me when I am stressed with my requirements. Thank you for helping me stay up at night and for motivating me to work hard and for always seeing the best in me. Without you as my main support system, I would never have made it this far. Thank you for all the prayers and for always bringing me closer to God. I love you all so much!
To my scholarships, University Scholar (US) when I was in GE, and DOST & Gov. Mandanas during my Alangilan days who supported me financially, thank you so much.
To my Friends, thank you so much for being my first friends in college. You guys never fail to make me laugh. I am forever grateful!
To Super Peds and Jenvin Pips, despite of all the stress from requirements in school, I enjoyed the company and support system you provided. I’ve met the most amazing people that motivated me to believe in myself and to always push myself to be the best me I can be. I don’t know how I’d survive Chemical Engineering life without these amazing people! I owe you so much!
To Velcrum, PD Combined, and Solar Cells: Thank you for all the memories and I’m so glad I got the chance to work with each and every one of you because those overnights was the time, I learned the most and also discovered the most.
To Black Pink, you guys deserve a special mention. Words cannot express how thankful I am for the friendship, memories, and help in college. You guys taught me how to enjoy college as well with all our mema review sessions, sleepovers, and chikas.
To all my elementary teachers, Interphil and SOCC training supervisors, GE and ChE professors, coaches, and advisers, thank you for all the learnings. I am so blessed to have come this far, but I wouldn’t have done it without each one of you.
Graduating from college sounds sad, although a new stage in life awaits me. I am sincerely grateful to the coder who was with me during this wonderful period!
