He is the only biological child of his parents (Sherry - mom, a human resource officer, and William Allen - dad, a government contractor) but we know that he had as a friend and brother - Tonan Ferrell whose mum gave up for adoption when he was just 8. Tonan and Grayson were best of friends in school and when Grayson's parents learned of the hardship Tonan was passing through, they thought it best to give a shelter and be a family to their son's best friend. That friendship between the two boys continues till today as evident in Tonan's social media posts showing pictures of himself and his adopted parents in his adopted brother's (Grayson) games. The two have been dating since 2013 during which time she was in a long distance relationship with Grayson as she was in the University of South Carolina.
