Ms. Rottenmeier is persuaded by Aunt Dete to take Heidi to the city, to keep company to a girl named Clara. Clara is attracted by Heidi's cheerfulness brought about by Heidi's lack of experience with their lifestyle and becomes good friends.
However, Ms. Rottenmeier, views these and the unfolding disruptions as uncivilized and bad behaviour, and places Heidi under more and more restrictions. Ms. Rottenheimer was joyous of this decision to the point be lively on the early morning hours, where the Butler Sebastian was to accompany her to her hometown, The noise awoke Clara and was eavesdropping, Her father had informed Clara about Heidi’s condition and was to be sent off in a carriage to the town Soon, Heidi reaches the town, where by retracing the pathway to her home, she reunites happily after being separated for such a long time.
Finally she made her way into the cottage’s attic take a view of the meadows and the mountain that she always adored.
