Sleeping habits are one of the disasters that mutual in the countries. It includes constant problems that a person faces while they sleep, the quality of the sleep،and when they sleep. Sleep helps adjust the body’s functions, so a lack of sleep can be a cause of disease. So, sleep habits can affect different sides of our life. In the research, we will introduce how sleeping habits affect education performance, the influence of electronic devices and the environment room.
Sleep problem affects the psychological state in many peoples no matter what old is they. In this case, we will discuss the sleep habits between school children and how the exercise effect on child sleep. The study was confirmed by the institutional ethical committee. They choose four schools in Lucknow, India to do the study. The studies included 1050 children how's want to a government school. And based on the exclusion and inclusion standards. First of all, the age groups are divided into three sections:4-5 years,6-10 years, and 11-15 years. A questionnaire was filled with sleep problems and habits. Then they ask the parents about the sleeping time, waking up and duration on weekdays and weekends. The score of sleep time over the weekdays was 8.9 (1.2) and 10.7 (1.1) hours at the weekends. Sleep time increased during the weekend, and waking time was significantly delayed in all age groups. They realize that screen activities such as tv in the child bedroom have a nugatory effect on their sleep habit. Sharing a bedroom, poor concentration, and light of the electronic devices affected night sleep. The sleep times for children are less than the advising and that’s can affect them in the wrong way.
Electronic devices are playing a big role in the lives of adolescents, and a large increase in the use of devices has been seen, thus affecting their sleep periods. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of using electronic devices.in a cross-sectional population-based study, they used data from the youth@hordaland survey of teens who are born from 1993 to 1995, in Hordaland in Western Norway. The survey was to Evaluating the extent of health problems and Use of data in adolescents. 19,430 people were invited and 1,010 agreed and almost of them were 17 years old age.girls 53.5%, boys 46.5%, and a majority 97.9% from high school. The study found that most teens use phones a large amount before bed and throughout the day. Most boys use game consoles more than girls, while girls use phones and Mp3 players more. The use of electronic devices and the daytime screen before bed causes risk factors due to the lack of bedtime in both sexes. the results indicate that there is a negative relationship between the use of electronic and sleeping time. So it should be developed regarding the amount and time use of devices and put restrictions on the devices if necessary.
Insufficient sleep causes many health problems, including obesity, a decrease in academic achievement, behavioral problems and more. Electronic devices are also a reason for reducing sleep, as this study examines screen connections in the sleep environment. 2000 participants from the fifth to the seventh grade were invited to participate in the questionnaire administered by school nurses during BMI exams. They Study the cross-sectional connections of screens and TVs in the sleeping environment. Children who slept near small screens compared to never looked 20.6 minutes less sleep had a higher rate of rest. and children who slept in a room with tv compared with no television increased 18.0 minutes of sleep. And it turns out that the seventh graders have a higher rate of sleep near the small devices compared to the fourth graders, which results in that the seventh-class sleep periods are (8.8 hours) while the fourth grade is (9.8 hours). The presence of small screens and sleep was associated with the presence of television in the room and video games this led to a shorter sleep. According to the results that appeared in the questionnaires, they alert that children, without restrictions, can access the media on the screen in their rooms.
As I mentioned sleeping habits can impact our life such as our education, children's performance, electronic devices also the environment room. People are unaware of how sleep habits can upset their lives. Wrong habits bring illness and laziness. Lack of sleep turns to lack of focus, lack of focus turns to low performance and gradually it turns into a lack of movement and disease.
