My Goal to Get a Degree in International Business

“People who dream small dreams continue to live lives as small people. ” This one saying of Robert T. Kiyosaki changed me entirely as a person a year ago and influenced me to dream big, dream of that which I was afraid of to dream before. Being a successful Business woman. A woman who would not only be successful in her own life but also make other lives successful. Going to university and receiving my degree in International Business will be a great achievement for me in my life as I will be a step closer to fulfilling my dream. This course will allow me to gain all the knowledge and experience needed for my future; at the end of the course it will help me to get a graduate job and at some point in future I will open up my own business.

Being the first person to go to university in my family motivates me to do my best while studying in university as it will affect my family circumstances. I am currently studying BTEC National Diploma in Business, my current course has helped me to develop my team working skills, presentation skills and it has made a very confident person as I had to work in teams as well as present many presentations throughout the year in front of the class. In the past I was a person who was not serious about education and about my future but by attending a number of meetings while getting trained in Amway was a life changing experience that allowed me to experience new situations. After making certain mistakes in high school motivated me to work much harder, get good grades and pursue a brighter future. Having an opportunity to do my work experience in British Airways was a great chance for me to learn about a new business internally. I enjoyed working there and I received relevant feedback from them.

Working for British Airways made me realise my passion for business as I enjoy working with a very large number of people and customers from different countries with different languages and cultures. Hosting big events on various occasions in my school made me a very confident person as well as helping me to develop communication skills. I am an active and outgoing person who likes to socialise with people of all backgrounds and enjoy researching on a daily basis. In my spare time I like reading cultural, religious and business books as I find it interesting. I am also a very hard-working, particularly driven and organised individual; I like keeping myself healthy by eating well and exercising regularly. In addition, the two sports that fascinate me intensely are tennis and football. Seeing the less fortunate and the needy ones in this world has allowed me to work harder in life to be able to help them one day. My great lingual skills will help me in the future and in the subject I will be studying at your university as I speak many languages such as English, Dutch, Persian, Dari, Urdu, Pashto and French. My passion towards business will surely help me to achieve my dream one day. I hope to study at your university and gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed for my future as it will strengthen my belief in reaching my goal.
