Passion for Nursing

Applying to nursing school? Yep, that’s a huge step for me. I’ve been dreaming about becoming a nurse since forever. Why am I so into it? Well, it’s simple really—helping people is my jam. Watching the nurses care for my grandma when she wasn’t well really hit home. The way they were there for her, offering not just medical care but true compassion—that was something special. But that’s not all. I've spent some time volunteering at our local hospital, which gave me lots more insight. Those nurses work hard, dealing with stuff every day that’s both challenging and rewarding. It made me even more certain that nursing is what I want to do.

Relevant Experiences and Qualifications

During school, I didn’t just sit back; I jumped into every chance to learn more about science and health. Advanced classes in biology and chemistry? Yep, did those. Joined the Health Sciences Club too! Understanding how our bodies work is key if you wanna be good at nursing.

Oh, and I’ve worked as a certified nursing assistant at a local nursing home too. That job taught me loads about working closely with patients—helping them out daily and offering emotional support. Plus, it improved my communication skills big time.

I’m big on health education too! Getting involved with community health programs has been amazing—I love helping folks learn how to take charge of their own health choices. It feels great knowing you're part of something bigger, aiming to uplift the community's overall wellbeing.
