Social problems, also called social issues, affect every society, great and small. Part of this is due to the fact that any members of a society living close enough together will have conflicts. It’s virtually impossible to avoid them, and even people who live together in the same house don’t always get along seamlessly. The list of social problems is huge. In the US, some predominant social issues include the growing divide between rich and poor, adolescent pregnancy. More like child abuse and neglect, crime, domestic violence, drug use, environmental contamination. Others like ethnic conflict. Also more of hunger, inadequate emergency services, inequality, poverty, and racism. These examples all lead down to suicidal. Why is suicide happening? Social problems leads to suicide.
Communities, like people, try to solve their problems by suicide. We'd be better off analyzing why that decline is taking place in the first place. Why is the problem is occurring? Rather than simply jumping in and trying to fix it. Keep in mind that what is seen as a problem can vary from place to place, and from group to group in the same place. One way is to state it in terms of a lack of a positive behavior, condition, or other factor, or the presence or size of a negative behavior, condition, or other factor. This can be as straightforward as individuals changing their behavior from suicide to non suicide. The real cause of a problem may not be immediately apparent. It may be a function of a social system, or may be a behavior or situation that maybe at first glance seem unrelated to it as complex. The idea of "community service might feel like a relic of your Girl Scout days or worse, a punishment. To take it further, the idea of having a "community". At all might feel foreign to you, whether you're living in your hometown or you change addresses with the seasons. Community service can be the way to prevent suicide. Suicide happens almost ⅓ each month.
We need to stop suicide from happening. We need to have a community service and talk about suicide. We need to join the Suicide Prevention Lifeline to stop and prevent suicide. “You don't have to be a mental health professional to help someone in your life that may be struggling.”. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.” We're committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.”. Share the Lifeline logo and prevention ribbons to raise awareness for suicide prevention. The percentage shared for states represent the amount of calls presented to states vs. what was able to be answered by crisis centers in the state. Calls that were not answered in-state, roll over to the Lifeline’s national backup system. Suicide is not inevitable for anyone. By starting the conversation, providing support, and directing help to those who need it, we can prevent suicides and save lives. By offering immediate counseling to everyone that may need it, local crisis centers provide invaluable support at critical times and connect individuals to local services. Risk factors are characteristics that make it more likely that someone will consider, attempt, or die by suicide.
Finally, if we can stop suicide, and many lives will be saved. The Suicide Prevention Lifeline Non-Profit will help many lives that’ll be saved from suicide. It can help the ⅓ people that are attempting to do suicide. Suicide needs to be stopped, and we can stop it with the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. We can stop it with the help of the members that work at the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. With the help of them suicide can be stopped forever.
