Stephen William Hawking is a physical, theoretical, cosmology, and he was also an author, and the director in the cosmology at the University of Cambridge in the years of 1979 to 2009. His book called A brief history of time was shown on the bestseller list for a breaking the record by 237 weeks. He received televisions success with numeral ideas of popular science he explains cosmology and theories in general.
Stephen Hawking was born on January 8th, 1942, he started school at the Byron House School in Highgate. After being there he blamed the school for him not being able to read while he was at the school. When he was 8 years old he was at St Albans high school for girls for a little while at the time he was 8 he was able to go to the school because he was a younger boy.
He went to two free of charge schools, at first it was Radlett School from September 1952 and St Albans School, after he passed eleventh grade earlier than the rest of his classmates. The family put school before everything it was very important to the Hawking family Stephen father wanted him to attend the well know Westminster School, but the 13-year-old wasn’t feeling good that day , which just had to be the of the day of the scholarship examination. His family could not afford the large amount of money the school needs, the only way they could pay the school fees would be to get financial help or a scholarship, so Stephan had to stay at St Alban's. A good thing was he stayed with a close group of friends; they enjoyed playing board games and other fun things as well. In 1958 with the help of his math teacher he built a computer from clock parts, an old telephone and other recycled components, Stephen was a very smart person he loved school and if his parents had the money to get him to school he would be very intelligent and he would have been very successful from when he was younger. When he was 21 years old he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In a simple way the nerves that controlled his muscles were shutting down. When Stephen Hawking was diagnosed the doctors told him that he only had 2 and half years to live.
Stephen Hawking lived up to the age of 76 before he passed away early this year. He first began to notice problems with his health while he was at Oxford he would trip and fall, or slur his speech he didn't really care about the problem nor was he until 1963 during his first year at Cambridge. Stephen had kept it a secret to his family. But then when his father saw the odd things he started to do, he brought him to the doctors.
For a few weeks, the 21 year old student was at the medical clinic for most of the month, where he had multiple tests. Doctors told him and his family that he had early stages of ALS, he has had this disability continue on in his life for many years. Stephen William Hawking is a great role model he told people that even with disabilities they could do whatever they want to doesn't matter, you are no different if you have a disability you are just Unique, Thank you, Stephen Hawking, for being such a great model for many people.
