Steve Jobs is well known for being a risk-taker and always doing what he can to progress his company. Steve Jobs decided switched to a disk drive at the last moment. Steve Jobs and his team originally decided to use the same massive drive as in the company’s “Lisa” computer but found that Sony simply could not get them ready to go in time. Steve Jobs say that “he could make the decision maybe three or four months earlier but he did not do that because he wanted to support another group at Apple that was doing this disk drive. Beside from that, Steve Jobs also take a risk to make the software far more complex than it had to be. This is because Steve Jobs wanted this machine can survive for 10 years or even longer and otherwise he would not have a chance to attract more consumers. In addition, Steve Jobs was command his team to redesign the hardware three times. Since the software was taking so long to develop, his team also need took the time it needed to perfect the physical hardware that people would be using every day.
Steve Jobs also known as the “Father of the Digital World”, he has achieved many milestones in his life. His legendary and futurist visionary who created an impression across the world with his personal computer revolution is still continues to affect everyone until today. When 1984, Steve Jobs launched the Macintosh and it was the first computer to success integrated the graphical user interface and a mouse with Macintosh. He launched the Macintosh with a massive media campaign organized by one minute TV commercial. After the success of the Macintosh, Apple’s board of directors marginalized Steve Jobs. Therefore, he chose to leave and found a new computer company called NeXT in 1988. During that period, he launched a new computer system at NeXT and always pushed his designers to research with innovative case constructions during his career. However, the new computer system was pricey but it was fast and especially expert at math functions and it had a built-in Ethernet port when most computers still needed a network interface card. After NeXT failed to attract consumer, he sold the company to Apple and came back to the Apple in 1996. After two years, the company released a desktop PC — the candy-coloured iMac. It kicked out the boring beige PC box to the curb and Steve Jobs marked this is the return of the revolutionary all-in-one design first introduced by the original Macintosh.
