Studying Overseas - One of The Scariest and Greatest Experiences

Studying overseas is an adventure comprising education and discovery. However, it also meant that I have to depart my city and go to a new, unknown place. There were tears in my eyes, I was once afraid and homesick, however I used to be excited about exploring a lot of new and superb things. However, that was a hard decision for an eighteen-year-old me. I felt I was nevertheless too young to make a big selection that would alternate my lifestyle forever. Nevertheless this brought me a life-changing realizations, so my experience of studying overseas is shared in this essay.  

As a youngster from Kolkata, the place where Chinese culture and cuisine has always been loved by people across the metropolis like no different overseas cuisine, it sincerely fascinated me when I thought of clearly experiencing the Chinese culture whilst I get to learn about medicine in such a lovely country.

For the first time, I wanted it to stop, so that I could spend more time with my family together. I did not cry, however my mind screamed now not to go out of my comfort zone, my city. On the other hand, my heart persuaded me to go, to take a danger and be brave.

Unforgettable Changes After Studying Overseas

After studying in KMU, being a student of IES, I realized how studying overseas offers a perception of the world and the people of different culture. It is really useful to students academically because it promotes recognition of global problems and politics. When living in a one-of-a-kind culture, one loses the attitude of their subculture being dominant and superior.

More I assume it is vital to find out about overseas because it rewards college students with the invaluable present of being totally immersed in often times, what is a new culture. Having an intercultural trip is so extremely essential in order to increase one's feel of cultural understanding, and cultural competency.

In addition, I feel, being in KMU, it gave me a unique educational journey that can train us students certain matters that frequently can't be learned in an ordinary school setting. For instance, it is one element to take a seat in a classroom, and be lectured about a culture. However, you achieve a definitely distinctive perception when you can actually experience the different lifestyle for yourself. Teachers in KMU has always encouraged us to contain ourselves in various activities enthusiastically and to experience Chinese culture by way of trying out a number of authentic cuisines, travelling to mesmerizing destinations, and gave us more than a few possibilities to interact with native Chinese human beings and students there. I accept, as true with mastering does now, not usually take place in the classroom, and reading in KMU is a great testimony to this. And most importantly, I did suppose as soon as I go to KMU, I will miss my home, but I by no means had an idea , I did miss my University this awfully as I do now. And I know, I miss KMU due to the fact the of the stunning hospitable human beings around. I miss KMU. I miss China. And I am impatiently waiting to get back there as soon as possible.
