To keep a direct touch and contact of the producers of all happening at the organization level as well as equip them with the power of knowledge and unity they are into two types of groups at different levels but basically the on-tire structure of the producer company in itself removes many barriers to the communication gap that could arise in a Cooperative or a privately and public owned company. The VCG also serves as a guide and inference to any doubt to the existing village member or to the new interested producer of the village. Village Based Milk Procurement System (VBMPS)
Build the capability of various stakeholders involved directly or indirectly in procurement of milk through activities such as awareness programs, training sessions and other such activities. The basic aim is to setup a fair and accurate procurement system and enable its timely payment to see more of transparency in its operations. Improvement of this as priority becomes even more essential when procurement be the very beginning steps of the Dairy Value Chain.
This is a type of advisory service to producers on how to adequately feed their cattle in consideration of right quantity of mineral and essential vitamin intake that they should provide to the cattle through the fodder. A very well trained field person called Local Resource Person (LRP) is appointed at the village level. He is well trained and equipped with the modern tools like Net book with INAPH loaded software, fodder weighing machine, measurement tape, ear tag applicator, Ear tag etc. One LRP is providing ration balancing advisory services in two contiguous villages. The LRP is being trained in various processes of ration balancing, INAPH Software, communication with farmers and basics of animal husbandry and management. With help of this, LRP is providing better services to dairy farmers.
