The Definition of Constitution and Bill of Rights

As American citizens, we have specific laws that defend us from the government. Both the Constitution and the Bill of Rights protect us by limiting the government control. The Amendments of the Bill of Rights protect our basic human rights such as freedom of speech, religion, and press. The Constitution, which also protects us helps keeps the design of a limited government to three branches. These three branches are Judicial( the supreme court), the executive branch ( the president), and the legislative branch (the Congress). These three branches of government are limited by Checks and Balances a system that checks and balances, each of the three branches of the government. 

Each branch controls the power of the other branches to secure a balance between them. As a matter of fact, if anything happens to the three branches of government, the state government will function independently. A limited government give citizens an opportunity to participate in politics, invest in finances and own property. Our founding fathers were individuals who challenged the existing law to achieve a higher moral purpose. As in to seek the protection and liberty of Americans, build a structured government with a restrained power to protect individual people.
