There is evidence of physical differentiators for both restaurants. The Cowboy Star Restaurant and Butcher Shop has unique interior design with exposed beam ceiling. This makes it exclusive by integrating some aspects of traditions in the designing of restaurant ceiling. Considering that most of the customers live in classic houses with best finishing techniques and unique products for completion, this scenario of exposed beam ceiling provides a special and interesting view among the customers. Also, the accents applied on various strategic locations in the restaurant provide a unique view and admiration for customers to observe. There is classic photography of landscape that presents the attachment with nature especially for the nature lovers by feeling connected to what they are passionate about. Essentially, the photography landscape contributes significantly to the beauty of the restaurant by giving a unique appearance among the viewers.
The kitchen has been made as the focal point so that it enables the display of the stunning design and equipment used in preparation of cuisine. Besides the metallic chairs are unique executive white leather seats to provide extra comfort for customers not interested in the ordinary high table and chair setup. Also, the restaurant has unique screen towards the end wall that can be viewed for the display of various entertainment programs like films, music, documentaries. The screen differs from the ordinary TV screens by being extremely large in size equivalent to the one used with projectors. This gives a clear view of images displayed to the customers regardless of the distance watched from (Yee, 2004).
There are recommendations for both restaurants aimed towards improving their hospitality business venture. The Bandar should consider expanding their space dedicated for customers to occupy so that a higher number can be hosted. This can enable the restaurant to serve more customers at the same time thus increasing their potential sales and profits. It is recommended that Cowboy may consider incorporating more traditional displays apart from the ceiling which can also include walls and furniture. This can give it uniqueness of being a traditional restaurant representing conservation of various aspects like the culture which can attract a particular class of conservatism customers. However, it is advisable to assess the possibility of this venture by identifying whether the target group is sufficiently available to sustain the business before implementing the move. In case such customers are available then it can be applied otherwise no need to attempt.
