The differences between the explicit and implicit characteristics of culture are; explicit implies the state of being aware of rules as well as customs together with regulations in the culture and learning consciously. Implicit characteristics of culture are frequently unrecognized by people but they tend to give direction to the behavior. Explicit characters are clearly stated while implicit characters of culture are not clearly stated. The explicit characteristics of culture are the front stage culture. The explicit characteristics are things which are so obvious like the German punctuality as well as the residual aspects of caste in India. The implicit characteristics of culture are the backs stage culture. The implicit characteristics are the sorts of values as well as secrets that are not wholly discussed or admitted.

The culture that I am familiar with is the German culture. Examples of explicit culture characteristics of German culture include the fact that they place the highest priority on structure (Little, 1992). They are also very private people and they believe in punctuality. The implicit characteristics of the German culture are that they are people who embrace the value of thriftiness as well as hard work together with industriousness. They are very stoic individuals who normally strive for perfectionism as well as precision in all the aspects of their lives and culture. They are people who do not normally admit faults.

Intelligence is the capability of an individual to comprehend as well as understand. Intelligence is a combination of memory as well as imagination together with reasoning and judgment. Intelligence is not an entity that is in an individual, but it is a combination of cognitive skills together with knowledge which is made evident by behaviors which are adapted (Green & Triffet, 1993). Intelligent behavior is an implication that a person is in position of clearly describing whatever is going on in any given circumstance.

The relationship between intelligence and intelligent behavior is that intelligence is what is acquired through the behaviors which enables an individual to think critically as well as clearly defining and describing situations. For this case intelligence comes in that a person is in position of displaying intelligent behavior of being in position of clearly articulating their self in a certain situation. Intelligent behavior is also noticed in the characters of using graphic descriptions together with definitions to make the communication clear to the people around.

The relationship between intelligence and intelligent behaviors is that intelligent behaviors are what constitute intelligence. An intelligent people will display behaviors like persistence. They will not give up when the solution to a problem is not quickly determined. They should intelligence through the behavior of overcoming impulsiveness. They usually plan as well as make a clarification of their goals together with exploring their objectives. Intelligence is also shown by the behavior of individuals listening to others. The ability of listening to others as well as understanding their point of view is a type of intelligent behavior which constitute intelligence (Green & Triffet, 1993). Flexibility in thinking is an intelligent behavior that shows intelligence. This is shown by the behavior of a person considering other people’s point of view rather than running to the first possibility. Intelligence is also metacognition which is characterized by the behavior of being aware of the way one is thinking as well as having the knowledge of what is going on in their head during the time when they are thinking.

Thus the relationship between intelligence and intelligent behavior is that intelligence is determined by intelligent behavior. One cannot be considered intelligent without having observed their characters.

The first example of original behavior that might appear intelligent between members of one culture and may not seem intelligent among others is that people differ in their capabilities to understand very complex ideas as well as to adapt very effectively to the surrounding as well as to learn from experience together with engaging in various forms of reasoning. Regardless of the fact that these individual differences can be very substantial, they will never be consistent among people of different cultures and people believe that an individuals’ intellectual performance has a variation as far as different occasions are concerned and in divergent domains. The ideas of intelligence are attempts to make a clarification as well as organizing complicated set of situation. Despite the fact that considerable clarity has been attained in some cultures, no such conceptualization has tried to respond to the significant questions in other cultures.

A second example of intelligent behavior that might appear intelligent in one culture and in another culture not intelligent is the ability to reason as well as plan together with solving many problems and comprehending complex ideas. Some cultures tend to believe that it is only through book learning that this behaviors can be obtained. But other cultures view the situation that it is not only books that can impart the skills of reasoning as well as planning of an individual, but a broad and deep ability of comprehending the surrounding.

Dichotomous variables are a type of nominal variable and also a larger part of categorical variable. Categorical variables are not estimated by the use of numbers but they can nevertheless be categorized. Dichotomous variables are those variables which have two outcomes. Many survey questions which yield yes or no answers are examples of dichotomous variables (“Understanding the different types of variable in statistics”, 2016). During formulation of a hypothesis to a dichotomous variable, it is significant to test the variables as being mutually exclusive. This is an implication that one outcome excludes the possibility of another outcome. One example of dichotomous variable is gender where one is categorized as either male or female. The second example of a dichotomous variable may be if a person is asked whether he or she own a mobile phone. In this situation, the mobile phone ownership is categorized as either yes or no.

A continuous variable is a type of variable which has the ability of taking on any single value between the minimum value as well as its maximum value. Any continuous variable does not have to have each possible number. It can as well be continuous between only two numbers. One example of continuous variable is the time it takes for a laptop to finish a given task (“Continuous Variable Definition”, 2016). Someone may think that they can count the time but time is usually rounded off to convenient intervals such as seconds together with milliseconds. The second example is an individual’s weight. An individual can weigh up to 180 pounds or 180.10 pounds. The number of possibilities involved with movement is limitless.
