Lincoln Castle has a really cool and intriguing history. Lincoln Castle’s history consists of lots of King’s and Queen’s and Wars between many other city-states. The significance of the castle, where and when it was built, cool places inside the castle like the Observatory tower, Lucy tower, and Cobb Hall. What wars they fought in for example 1217 civil war and the French invasion. To this day Lincoln Castle conveys the gruesome of the grueling wars that it was put through. Royal people like King Henry II, King John, King Henry VIII, and Queen Catherine visited times during the 12 century.
Lincoln Castle was built on a previous roman fortress.
