Suddenly Hannah receives a phone call from the clinic manager stating that they has received an anonymous call and the caller recited details of a patient, including the name of the patient, the diagnosis and treatment details. Since Hannah has lost all the information of the patients, if the patients also get anonymous calls about their health information it means the information is been leaked and it would be a civil law act.

The clinic must contact the police for safety of the patient’s information. The patient along with the patient’s family must be called in the clinic for a conversation to make them understand the situation. The privacy code should be used at this stage as for the law all the Patients have rights as consumers of health and disability services given by specialists and other wellbeing experts in private and public services, for paid and unpaid administrations, within hospitals and within private practices. The code of rights is the law under the Health and Disability Act 1994 (the HDC Act). The Council's capacities, forces, and obligations as a regulator are determined in the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCAA). Parts 3 and 4 of the Act indicate forces and obligations with respect to capability and lead matters separately. The reason for these standards is to give a system for good decision making about complaints which are managed by the Council. The standards are not planned to cover each particular situation yet rather give direction on how protests ought to be surveyed and overseen. The system applies to the choices of the Complaints Triage Team and of Council.
