Minecraft is a lego style adventure game (Lucy Kinder 2013) you begin as a character called Steve who lives on a randomly generated world in the middle of nowhere made where everything is shaped in a cube like way. The general aim of the game is to survive by hunting food or growing food which you can also trade or sell to make profit, and finally the most important part of game building things out of the items collect and add to your growing inventory with these items you can build small things like little huts, gardens and more but you can also create huge things such as skyscrapers, roller coasters, stadiums, and much more however if you prefer not to collect all these items to make huge things, you can simply play in the creative setting where you already have all the items you need to build almost anything you want it just ob and you are unable to die as you have infinite health. However people genuinely play in survival which is where you start from scratch and collect the things you need to build, survive, and fight the generated monsters included in this game, and everything else that is you need.

Minecraft was first released to the pubic on May 17 2009 (Minecraft Wikipedia) by a Swedish game programmer called Markus Persson, better known as (Notch)who says he was inspired to create Minecraft by several other games including Dungeon Keeper and Dwarf Fortress. However the full version came out in 2011 this included many different updates according to which took a lot of inspiration from a similar game called (infiniminer) the early version was a lot slower and didn’t have a lot of basic a lot of good materials and was far more basic. The game was slowly updated between 2009 and 2011 until the complete full version was released on November 18th 2011 where you could download the game on IOS and android devices this was called minecraft pocket edition upon release and still is today.
