Dear Future Me,
I am writting this essay for you. You finally graduated high school! This is a huge accomplishment as in the last few years you thought this would be the most formidable task. Summer is just around the corner and you’re finally heading off to university and taking on many responsibilities. I know it seems extremely stressful but just enjoy life as much as you can. As for me, I am living the life. Highschool is exactly what I expected, I get so much freedom and I have some of the most astonishing friends.
My smart goal for this year is to get better at time management. I have never really been good at managing my time, but it’s very important. If I don’t get better at time-management, it can really affect me in a very negative way. Have you gotten much better at time management, after all these years. As for my future goals, I want to become an orthodontist. At the age of fourteen, I knew I was destined to be an orthodontist. Are you still thinking of being an orthodontist, or have you changed your mind? The university of my dreams is the McMaster University, and I want to major in Biology. As for change, I think I am going to change both physically and mentally.
My moral compasses will probably change in a very positive way and I will also have a better understanding on who I am and my future goals. An accomplishment I would like to successfully accomplish is getting honour roll in all four years of highschool. I know it probably seems impossible but I hope you’re laughing at this letter as you have gotten honour roll for all four years. I am not a 100% sure if I can accomplish this goal, but I am very determined and dedicated to get honour roll.
Anyways, I would like to end this letter by saying, I am extremely proud of who you’re becoming. You started of as a young girl not really knowing what she was destined to be, but now you’re an adult heading of to university in a few months and chasing your dreams. I know it seems extremely stressful but never look back, life has just begun and it’s time for you to change the world. It may be a slow process, but quitting will never speed it up. Life will only began after you have come to an end to your comfort zone, so take risks and enjoy life to the fullest.
