The Politically Correct Free Speech

Islam. The one topic you can safely talk about without being attacked and slandered by the media or witch hunted by progressive activists. Don’t fear, the justice system is on your side. They sure as hell won’t bend over backwards for any specific ethnic group or barter your free speech off for public safety- and that’s just one example of who you can’t criticise without the court on your behinds. It’s all for one brilliant reason: to stop the dogs from making a mess of the place. There are so many examples of public servants unable to complete their job due to the term “Racist”. They are scared, weak and have betrayed their own sense of justice to fit a disgusting, fast moving progressive media that show no signs of slowing down. What’s even worse is the fact that Britain is becoming more multicultural than ever, meaning more incidents go unreported and more criminals aren’t punished, shielded by these umbrella terms to make them seem innocent. In the end truly innocent immigrants and British citizens are being racially prejudiced against due to all the rotten apples in the barrel getting away scot-free.

Let’s start with my main problem. The police and councils. The Rotherham Child Exploitation Scandal would make anyone burn red with anger. 16 years. It took 16 years of child exploitation to finally get the police to catch them. 1,400 Children were sexually abused over the course of 16 years, starting from 1997 all the way up to 2013. This scandal should’ve been stopped and prevented quickly, yet they blatantly care more about being labelled than all of the 1,400 children abused over the years. “Five men from the town were jailed for sexual offences against girls in 2010, but the report said police 'regarded many child victims with contempt'.” says the BBC. I wholeheartedly believe that the police ignored them because they were scared of being labelled as ‘Racists', even their close relatives support the idea. “The inquiry team noted fears among council staff of being labelled 'racist' if they focused on victims' descriptions of the majority of abusers as 'Asian' men.”, quoted from the BBC, this is clear to me that it they are cowards and incapable of reporting the truth. Majority of the abusers whom abused the distraught and vulnerable 1,400 children were “Asian”. That is the truth. How is that racist? Just because someone that’s not white committed the crime is it automatically considered racist to accuse them? They obviously can’t keep up with the fact that Britain is changing. More and more different cultures and races are welcomed here every day. Not one of us are getting used to it apparently. It’s not just white people any more, in fact it never was. Something needs to change. We need to be able to speak without fear or else crime goes unreported.

Islam is a popular religion to use as a solid bench mark against free speech. You cannot criticise the prophet or draw him. An example: The Charlie Hebdo shooting. At least 12 dead. They had made satirical comics about Mohammed which is the suspected reason why the shooting had taken place. They have my utmost respect, free speech is something that should be defended through and through. No Religion should silence the way you feel for the rest of your life. I had mentioned that the police had traded in our free speech for public safety. The police know how extreme religion can be as dangerous protests have shown to be. For example, muslims were allowed to pray in the Royal Park whilst it was banned for other religions. Someone had complained to the police and was later arrested unjustfully. Another video emerged showing violent protests to this rule when muslims were asked to stop praying in the Royal Park. A Lady was arrested for questioning those who didn’t follow the rules. She was right, but to avoid conflict they locked her up so she could be silenced. Its extremely worrying about the future of free speech. The police only care about avoiding problems as they arise. A Woman had posted online ‘Anti-religious messages’ which soon after she received death threats. A GMT employee stated, “I think this problem could’ve been avoided”, simply dismissing her. “A problem that could’ve been avoided by keeping her mouth shut,” said by Sargon of Akkad - a well known youtube star often known for debates and his stance on the western world and free speech, referring to what the GMT employee was implying. Whilst the police are always looking for the best interest of the public, they don’t deserve it. Shutting down free speech should not be tolerated in a country such as this.

Free speech Is something that should always be an option. You shouldn’t be sent to hell and back for a few words. Imagine being prosecuted for drawing a harmless nazi symbol on a book as a 12 year old? It means nothing. Like speech, you decide to give it meaning. People are honestly too soft. They all need to grow a shell. If no one can handle an insult here and there, I fret for the future of free speech and the people living here.
