When was one time that your life transformed? Where everything after that event was different? Most people have an event in their life where it transformed their life. it could have transformed their life in a good way or in a bad way. My life transformed when i moved schools. It changed my life in a good way. In House Taken Over by Julio Cortazar, the siblings’ life transformed when they had their house taken away.

I moved from LIberty Traditional School to Prescott Valley Charter School. The reason why it changed my life was because i had a lot of problems in Liberty. I would always get accused of things that i never did. The principal didn’t like me, so every time something happened she would think it was me. My parents got tired of it and moved me schools. Once I moved it really changed my life because i didn’t have problems every day and i wouldn’t get accused of stuff. That’s how transformation played a role in my life.

Their life changed when their house was taken over. At first it started when a side of the house was taken over. “I had to shut the door to the passage they’ve taken over the back part” (para 8). Then the rest of the house was taken over. “I locked the front door up tight and tossed the key down the sewer. It wouldn’t do to have some poor devil decide to go in and rob the house, at that hour and with the house taken over”.
