The Most Imortant Rules of Living

Stop and look around you and for a second take in the world’s beauty and allow yourself to be carried away by the magnificent sounds and scents of simply being alive. Now slowly relinquish that all there is, all you see and all you love about this spectacular place will come to pass. One day, not known to us, all that will persist is the impact we manage to live by the words we said, the lives we touched and the little distortion we fixed in the wilds of the universe.

So what do we do in a temporary life? How best do we manage the hills and valleys of living? Is it possible to use the minimum time given to us to get out of life the maximum and to life give our maximum?

First, simply put, there is no holding back. Once the race is on there is no turning back or standing still. Strive to achieve all your dreams, the big and the small ones alike for of what worth is it for a man to merely dream but never act? Never settle for a mediocre or ‘good enough’ when God Is all His kindness programmed you to achieve only the much coveted excellence status. You have to position yourself in the ring no matter how loud the voice of fear and insecurities may be in your head, urging that you can never be. Your dreams are calling, only question is will you be bold enough to pick up the phone?

Learn from every experience, every failure, and every heartbreak pick a lesson for the past should not be used as a chance to drown in self-pity or regret but rather a way of slowly becoming a better human each day. Allow yourself to blossom and grow and better still build an empire from the ruins of the past.

Make a difference please do. It is unacceptable to exist without a purpose beyond that of self. Marion Wright Edelman once said, “Service is the rent we pay for being.” The very purpose of life, and not something we do in our spare time.” You need not be the richest person in the room to make a change. Smile at a stranger or ask a random person how their day has been so far. Be the ear to a damned soul’s cry. You have no idea the impact you could possibly make by a deed as small as that. Better still help the poor, the sick, and any person who could need whatever help you have to offer. Do good.

Laugh Smile, laugh, smile and repeat. You only have this one imperfect-surreal-sometimes unbearable-often amazing temporary life to live. Seize every moment, dance under the stars, run in the rain. Enjoy your day. Yes, life may knock us down once in a while, so hard sometimes that it feels like we’re too scarred and broken to stand up however, be sure that to be catapulted to the stars you might as well hit rock bottom first. Stay happy and sweet no matter the weather you are exposed to. Replace all negative thoughts with beautiful colors of the happiness of truly being alive. That is the ultimate rule of staying alive.
