The Syrian civil war was started as development of Arab Spring rebellions 2011. The conflict was commenced when the inhabitants of Dara’a, the small city in Syria launched a protest in the street in the event that a young boy was being tortured because of the writings of anti-government on their building of school. Since the happening of this event, President Bashar al-Assad had ruled his people in a cruel and oppressive force after the first protest in March 2011 and he began the suppression on the protest across the country.
In April 2011, he delivered the tanks into towns and have the regime forces open fire on the citizens. Throughout the summer of 2011, thousands of regime militaries departed from the government and started the attacks against the government when the armed forces carried forward to suppress the protest. The United Nation gave warning to Syria that it was on the extremity of civil war and called for instantaneous action when the opposing forces become stronger.
In order to remove the Syrian government and terminate the ruling of President Assad so that to form a democratic state, there was the formation of Syrian National Council who was established to fight against the government of Syria in August 2011. To condemn the violation of President Assad on Syrian people, the United Nation together with the Security Council attempted to have the resolution passed, however, it was objected by countries such as Russia and China. Because of the objection by Russia and China, the Security Council’s hard works to eliminate the infringement of human rights failed. As a result, the death rate in Syria had the increment rapidly from 400 deaths in June 2011 to over 3000 in June 2012.
In towns throughout Syria, along with Damascus, the capital as well as Aleppo, the largest town, the opposing forces had joined the military groups stating themselves as the components of Free Syrian Army. From bases in refugee camps on the Turkish side of the boundary, the flow of armaments, supply of medicines and money increased. Since the war would carry on with no end in sight, the situations become worse than ever. The coming of Muslim Jihadists, Al-Qaeda and world super forces would immediately accelerate the killing and devastation in Syria. As according to Andrew Tabler, an expert on Syria at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, since World War II, the Syrian Civil War is debatably the worst crisis of humanitarian with more than a quarter million killed, approximately the same amount injured or lost and 11 million of Syrian population moved from their homes.
