According to some authors, there is no specific meaning of what is Mathematics. Every person has different belief on what mathematics is all about and what it is. Some people think that mathematics really helps us for what we have now and also some people think that mathematics makes our way of living easier but also some thinks that mathematics makes our way of living difficult specially the students. Some students are not into Mathematics but we do realize that it is really important.

Mathematics has a great impact in our daily lives. Even in the morning, every time we wake up we first check what time it is, in eating our breakfast we also use mathematics to calculate how many fried chicken and cups of rice we will eat. We also use mathematics in calculating our fare in going to school, how many kilometers is the distance of our house from the school and calculating how many hours we have travelled just to go to school by checking the time.

Talking about calculation, according to the vocabulary calculation is the act of calculating, which is using math or logic to figure out a problem. Calculation also means to plan something in a careful manner. For example, calculating all the pros and cons of finding or deciding what college you will choose. Calculation is important in today’s world because if you do not know how to calculate you will be fool and a lot of people will deceive you. We use calculation every day, for example calculating how much you bought in a store, if you know how to calculate you will know how much it is but if you don’t the seller will fool you and he will ask higher than how much you bought. This is one reason why a person should know how to calculate. In the modern world there are machines that will help you to calculate easier and faster. There are calculators and computers that help a lot of student to calculate something. Calculation is a very broad topic or concept in mathematics but it is important in every discipline like in calculus, geometry and trigonometry. In a specific discipline you need to calculate to have an answer. And also in the professional world they also need to use calculation like the engineers, chefs and even doctors specially a dentist.

Calculation in dentistry can be as simple as counting teeth and as complex as determining the multiplication rate of the bacteria which uses calculus. Specifically, one of the two main branches, differential equation of the third degree governs the growth. Calculation has been ever since an integral part of almost every discipline uses calculation and dentistry is no exception. Practitioners regularly do calculations to ensure accuracy, precision, and satisfaction for every operation.

First off, before an operation starts, the patient usually is given a certain amount of lidocaine or anesthesia. The dosage for every person varies.
