With this app individuals are constantly informed about their activity tracks such as their walking or running distances. This can be seen as a tool to help those of whom are interested in losing weight, gaining muscle or those who are just interested in an overall healthier lifestyle. This app is seen as beneficial due to the fact that it can also help track a person’s mood to help pinpoint if a lack of sleep, physical exercise or diet is playing a big role on the individuals behaviors. One downside to the app is that the app does not give an accurate calculation of the daily step count which could demotivate individuals. The app also has a lack of regulations which causes there to be a lack of trust from working doctors and physicians.

In the future this app may extend into hospitals where patients may easily be able to access certain medical information online making doctor visits become insignificant for diagnosis but rather only become an outlet for treatment after diagnosis from the health app. The app may also be used in hospitals as a second opinion for doctors due to the fact that technology is always improving and the accuracy of the technology will then too advance as well.
