Have you ever wondered what your day would be like if you didn’t have math? If I had a day without math, I would feel like I was not intelligent and that I could barely do anything. It would be a crazy day electricity and going shopping.
I woke up one beautiful morning with the sun shining bright. I looked at my hot pink alarm clock, yearning to know what time it was. Wow, that’s very strange! There’s no time on my alarm clock! That has never happened to me before. Maybe the clock broke, but how? While getting out of my comfortable bed I wondered if the clock was plugged in. It was surprisingly plugged in! So that must mean that the electricity was out, because when I went over to turn on the light to my room, it didn’t work! Oh well, I’ll just go ask my Mom what’s going on.
While walking to my Mom’s room, which is all the way across the house, I tripped over a pencil and twisted my ankle! My Mom must of heard me, because she came tumbling out of her room, wondering if I was okay. “I must take you to the hospital,” she said. The hospital was right across the street from my house. My Mom walked while I got to ride in a baby wagon. When we got to the hospital, the lady at the front desk took me to an x-ray room. The doctor looked at me and said, “I’m sorry, but our electricity is not working today. I’m just going to have to send you home and see you tomorrow.” While we were on our way home I asked, “What was that all about?” “I’m sorry that I forgot to tell you this, but the world is doing a day without math,” she said. No wonder my clock and the electricity wasn’t working, I thought to myself.
Overall, this day was pretty painful to look back at. I would hate for this to happen again, especially when the doctors couldn’t help me. I wish that the day without math would of been easier.
