Unique Characteristics of My School: The Second Home for Children

Schools play an important role in molding a nation’s future by facilitating all round development of its future citizens. The thread of the growth of society depends upon the quality of education that is being imparted. Unfortunately, not all schools provide the education that children need to achieve their goals and develop the country. 

When I was 12, I decided to transfer to another school. After consulting with many teachers, I decided to continue studying in another city because the level of education there was high. The choice was not easy since I had no relatives there. But in pursuit of knowledge, I still decided to apply to the best school in the field of education in the region - Atyrau 'Bilim-Innovation' Lyceum. The most gifted students from all over the region competed and only 2% of them were enrolled. This school is famous in the region for its excellent academic achievements in many fields of education. 

When I came here for the first time, I was astonished by the beauty of the school and the interior: the combination of green life and modern design will fascinate every visitor. It provides a plethora of extracurricular activities that students can participate in. Almost all of them get involved in some activity whether it is athletics, various clubs, Olympiad teams or student council. “Intelligence plus character” - that is what I think about education at my school. Here are collected the most intelligent teachers from all over the country who will not only give students top-quality education but will become true friends who will help them in any situation. A common theme to each core values is a student-centered view of education. The school principal actively constructs goals and then effectively communicates them to teachers, students, and school council. It also provides excellent conditions for students from other cities. Every year it produces students that have personal and specific hope for the future that they can articulate and believe in and share with others. It is also disruptive of bad cultural practices, like intolerance based on race and financial state of a student. Although my school places emphasis on academic development and the study of various branches of science, nevertheless it always takes care of the education of other schools. Every week, the school organizes seminars where our teachers share knowledge with teachers from other schools in order to improve the level of education in the region as a whole.

For only 5 years, my school has become a second home, where everyone is trying to help others. I am grateful to all the teachers who gave me priceless knowledge and gave the right direction in life. I am very glad that I studied in this school and I am sure that I made the right choice.
