Why Having a Good Relationship with The Neighbors Around Us is Very Important

My dog jumped up and started barking fiercely. It was a serene and a quiet night yesterday. It was eleven o’clock and I’m still watching my favorite television program which is “IP Man” in the living room alone while my parents had gone for their bed. When the movie was in tense atmosphere, suddenly I heard my dog started barking fiercely. At the beginning, I thought it might be stranger pass by so my dog started barking at him or her, but after a few minutes my dog continued barking. I decided to walk close o the window and take a look what was happening outside there. In the lights of the lamppost, I saw two vague shadows were trying to get into my neighbor’s house but I can’t see their faces clearly.

At first I thought my neighbor was coming back but I suddenly realized that my neighbor told me they would having their trip in overseas with his family members and he asked me to help him look after his house while yesterday was their second days left their house. Then I quickly went up to my parent’s room to wake them up and told them what’s happening in the neighbor’s house. After that, my parents picked up an iron bar and decided to go out to understand the situation. When my father saw the robbers tried to get into my neighbor’s house, my father shouted at them loudly. The robbers get shocked and tried to escape from the crime scene but it was too late. My father tried to stop the robbers escape from it using iron bars while my mom asked for help from other neighbors during that time.

At that moment, all the neighbors came out from their own house to see what was happening and my neighbor’s house was crowded by them. Under no way, both of the robbers gave up their original plans and walked towards the crowded but the story did not end yet. One of the robbers took out a pistol and pointed towards the crowded people. Some of the people were screaming because of getting scare that the robbers will fire the pistol towards them. “Let us leave and pretend to see nothing happened tonight or else I will fire the pistol to who trying to stop us” said by one of the robbers. Before the situation getting worse my mom quickly ran back to our house to make a police report.

Couple minutes later, police cars had arrived to the crime scene. When the robbers noticed that, they opened a gun battle with the policemen while the rest of the people were trying to hide themselves from being shoot by the burglaries. Unfortunately, one of the robber’s leg was being shoot by a policeman. After the long battle between the policemen and the robbers, they decided to give up from escaping the crime scene. Lastly, the robbers were arrested by the policemen. At the same time, my parents and I were taken back to the police station by the police to record statement based on what we see. After the robbery case was settled all the neighbors went back to their home. On the way to police station, I glanced on my watch and it was around 12 am midnight.

When we reached home, my parents and I went for bed. Although I’m very tired but I will never forget the incidence happened yesterday night. This will be my first experience that I had gone through even though the robbery case was not happened to my house but my neighbor’s. From the robbery case, I had learnt a valuable lesson which is having a good relationship with the neighbors around us is very important. Whenever we are outstation, at least there are neighbors help us look after our house to ensure that our house always in a safe condition.
