The Italian lifestyle is all about sunshine, rich culture and traditions, historical heritage around every corner. Most small towns in Italy markets at least once or twice a week, while in the larger cities you can find markets almost everywhere. Italy is the prize of food they have some of the best food in town fresh, delicious, and local. The lifestyle in Italy is very lay back and chill people would rather spend time with the family there than spend more money, it’s almost like all the people in Italy are friends with each other and have anyone’s back.
Climate
Usually the climate varies mostly from the north to the south of Italy. The Alps have a harsh climate, with very cold winters and very hot summers, particularly humid summer and winter and a shorter and less intense cold season than in the north; summers are longer. In the southern end of Italy and the islands winters are not as harsh as the north and southern end. Autumn temperatures are similar to summer areas in Italy.
Fashion
In Italy, each region has a traditional costume, now most people wear traditional costumes during a special celebration (this usually happens during agricultural festivals e.g. the end of the harvest season) also historical parades. Traditionally women wear a wide dress, that must cover her ankles. This is worn with a tight bodice and a short small waist coat to cover her shoulders. Sometimes they wear a cap or a veil too. The colours of Italy are bright and colourful to show fun and joy, most of the time the same colours of their regional flag.
History
Italy was not free until 1870. Before this time, the country was separated into different states ruled by France, Spain, Austria and other foreign countries. There were many attempts to bring the states together but all of these attempts failed until 1860.
Food
Italian food is what most people fantasize Italian food is famous throughout the world. Food is the main subject in Italy, every city and town in Italy has markets where people like to shop daily for fresh food produce e.g. fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Although fresh pasta like pappardelle and tagliatelle, are more popular in the north since it does not need to be dried. The climate also affects the types of food and plants that grow in Italy. Some plants, like olive trees would grow better in warm weather meaning it is mostly grown in the southern areas. In the south olive oil is used while in the northern areas butter and lard are used instead of olive oil. Obviously, the geographical lands of Italy influence on the Italian produce.

A simple salad using lettuce leaves or rocket are always served with a main meal in Italy. The best dressing is with a good-quality extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
