Corona, a wonderful word without the word virus, reminds of a luxurious car model, Toyota Corolla! There is a deadly word added to it, Virus. Coronavirus is in a family of viruses that result in illnesses such as common cold and severe acute respiratory syndrome. A very dangerous infection that can be assumed to be just a common cold, yet it claims lives. The virus easily spread just like the common cold, but the worst part of it is that it cannot be treated.

The Human race for long has been comfortable for being free from the coronavirus as it was only identified on animals. But recently, the virus has upgraded and found its way to humankind, considering that the medics and researchers have not yet find its cure to animals as alluded by (Sikkema, Farag, Islam, Atta, Reusken, Al-Hajri, & Koopmans, 2019). Now there is a hard task ahead as it is severe and kills with no mercy. The physician suspects that this sudden change might have occurred after the consumption of meat from an infected animal. Although it has not yet been confirmed whether the main source was from consumption, for the virus is spread through the air after the host breath it out. But now that it has also infected humankind things are different.

China has found itself hit hard by the virus; the virus has claimed the lives of one hundred and seventy people, yet more than seven thousand, seven hundred and eleven people have been diagnosed to have been infected. This population is a well significant group that can continuously spread the virus worldwide, especially now that the virus is airborne, more people are likely to be infected. The greatest fear above all is that the symptoms of the virus can be observed even after one week of infection. And those diagnosed have been identified already had the symptoms, the big question is what about the great population that might have been infected but have not yet shown the symptoms.

The virus is airborne and can spread widely within a very short time. That explains why China has been attacked with the virus and also the widespread of the virus within the China population. Though other countries like Germany, Japan and Vietnam have had cases of infected people, the result has not been that severe as observed in China (Keck, 2020). In Kenya. There was fear in its capital city and in Kakamega county of china citizens who had arrived to have the virus, but lucky Kenya they were not infected. All countries worldwide are called upon to take stand measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

The most recommended way to manage the spread of the virus is by giving travel advice. People from the infected region should not be allowed to travel and mix with the rest of the people. Secondly, it is so essential that all the people in the affected area should be medically checked for the presence of the virus in their system. In as much as the treatment has not been established, prevention of the spread of the virus will remain the most effective way to manage Coronavirus.

Coronavirus is not just a virus like any other. But it is a global threat to the human race on earth, especially that it cannot be treated. Let all the nations worldwide unite to manage the spread of the virus by taking stand measures to control how people travel across the globe and provide the facility for quality research that will lead to successful treatmen4t and vaccination to the healthy population. All passengers on airports should be checked before they are allowed to mix with the rest of the population. It might be difficult and expensive but as the wise counsel says, “Prevention is better than cure.
