Introduction

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17) Christ died on the cross not only to save us but to restore all things. According to the Scriptures, God's purpose for people included a plan for the redemption of mankind. This plan was in place from the foundation of the world, before the creation of Adam and Eve (Rev. 13:8). Man simply does not have the ability to overcome Satan. Paul writes: “Because the creation was subjected to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who subjected it in hope, in order that the creation itself might be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that all the creation is groaning together and travailing together until now” (Rom. 8:20-22). Because of God's love for humanity, he redeemed man from sin, death, and Satan—through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Discussion About My Personal Worldview and My Christian Beliefs

In the greatest manifestation of the love of God, in an act of humility, God became a man. God created man in His image and in His likeness. He did this so that He could become a man to redeem mankind from sin and so that those who are redeemed could become like God. The Lord God Who had created man from the dust of the ground came to the earth in the flesh as Jesus Christ, as John writes: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and not even one thing that was created came into being without Him…. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us (and we ourselves beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten with the Father), full of grace and truth” (John 1:1-3, 14). Jesus said of Himself: “I am the living bread, which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:51).

After much thought and research, I find that my Christian worldview is that God created us in His image. Therefore, we possess the same qualities of God, and even though we sin, God has promised to reunite us with Him and offers us redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ. As we learn to love one another, we must lose the perception that we don’t have to love our enemies. Love is a commandment, not an option. As believers, we are set apart from the world, thus we live beyond the expectations of society and defy the stigma that has been created by humanity. Although it is difficult to fully grasp the beliefs of Christianity, the message remains clear. God has called us to lead those who do not believe into the light of love and eternal life. As Christians, we must firmly believe in our faith and trust God and His word. For us to live victorious lives, we must believe that God will keep His promises as we make that first step in faith. And it is also by faith that we live a life as believers in Jesus Christ.

Personal Worldview

My own personal worldview has been crafted out of my own personal experiences, beliefs, and most importantly, my Christian faith. It is my beliefs that have placed my Lord and Savior above all else and helped shape me into an open-minded individual. My worldview consists of a Christian-based belief that refers to the Bible as a foundational tool. My Christian beliefs and practices have also led me to believe and follow the norms and standards and have taught me what is not only ethical but justifiable and righteous too. It helps to reinforce my values by allowing me to participate in many rituals and practices that also correlate with my beliefs. This includes attending church, daily devotions, and celebrating holidays. These practices are not mere rituals but profound experiences that deepen my spiritual connection. It is my personal experiences that allow my beliefs and help to remind me of what is important and essential to my life. It is my worldview that defines me.
