Mimicking the style of the iPhone with its rounded corners and offering interchangeable straps, the watch has a sporty or more sophisticated look. The Retina display is sharper than other smart watches and the use of the Digital Crown (a small button on the side) allows users to scroll or zoom without blocking the screen.

As a portable software, the watch is loaded with useful and practical applications and even includes some games. You can send and receive texts, dictate messages, listen to music with wireless Bluetooth headphones and even send your heartbeat, although you want or need to stay something of a mystery to me.

Ability to Send and Receive Calls

Associated with an iPhone 5 or 6, the watch offers the ability to send and receive calls, including using the speaker, not something that will appeal to all user.

Cons: Price

The relatively high price tag, even for the cheapest option, will be a disruptive factor for many consumers. Battery Life and Charging Time

With an estimated life of 18 hours, the watch does not meet the requirements of Pebble and Galaxy technology that promise up to 36 hours of battery life. Remember, as with any technology, battery life depends on usage. A second complaint that has been raised is the relatively slow charging time common to some Apple products.

Compatibility Requirements

In the end the watch is an iPhone accessory, and since it is only compatible with the iPhone 5 or 6, the number of potential users is greatly reduced. Users must be within the Bluetooth range (approximately 30 feet) of their phone or connected via Wi-Fi for the watch to function.
