Obesity among adults and teenagers is considered to be one of the most common and disturbing problems globally, at least in economically prosperous countries. Not even only adults and teenagers, but little children too sometimes when their parents are not aware of their daily routine of foods disturbs them too. Though food manufacturers notify customers about the nutritional value and the amounts of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates contained in most products, this does not contribute to decreasing the scope of the obesity issue, it makes them aware of the risk in consuming those foods. Nutritionists say that the origins of the problem lay not only in what people eat, but in how they eat. If we want to live a healthy and good live we should eat food in a balance proportion for example carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, vitamins fats and oils all should be in a balance state inorder to be healthy. Consequently, it is essential to have knowledge about the most common eating habits and offer alternatives to each of them.

The general population consensus in developed countries is that if they consume larger portions or high calorie food, they will feel full longer; accordingly, during their lunch breaks, they eat as much as they can, and then return to their offices. Yes, I believe this previous statement because in developed countries, they are rich and they have lots of materials, facilities for example machines to do farming and machines to prepare foods in a civilzed way inorder to prevent the foods from bacteria and other stuffs. While those who have active professions, such as construction workers or woodsmen, burn calories faster and thus are less exposed to obesity, that is because the work that contruction workers or woodsmen do is very heavy and they usually work from morning to night without no stop, therefore even if they eat a large portion of food, within a short period of time they will get hungry again because of the work load.

Many office workers can be categorized as being connected to risk, as they sit down at a desk for many hours after eating. Yes that is because after eating this high calorie foods you need to swept atleast by doing some exercise inorder to burn the fats, but office don’t do that, they just come and work then go back home, therefore they are always in a risk of suffering obesity. Eating at night is even worse, as a person does not simply lie in bed, but processes in their body, including food digestion, slows down. An effective alternative is to eat more often, but in smaller portions, and to chew food thoroughly in this case, satiety will occur sooner, and last longer, than if you were swallowing big bites. Yes I myself experience this, if you eat at night, you don’t have to jump on the bed and sleep, you should sit down at least 20 to 30 minutes for the digestion of the food to go smoothly, if not if you wake up the morning it badly affects you.

Opposed to popular opinion, fats are useful and beneficial for the human body. At the same time, this does not mean you can eat all fatty food without limitation. Yes fats are very important in the human body, but too much of it is harmful. That is why you wil see some people very thin and in the next few months you will see them very, and you will be wondering how did this happened. That is because the fats they consume everyday is too much and they don’t exercise to burn it, therefore it makes them very fat. On the other hand, a healthy diet should include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats are contained in such products as oil, peanut oil, and olive oil, as well as avocados, nuts, and seeds. Polyunsaturated fats, including Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, can be found in fatty fish such as salmon, herring, mackerel, anchovies, and sardines. One should also try different types of protein, simultaneously moving away from making it the center of your daily meals.

Many people who try to lose weight make excessive efforts involving personal will power, forbidding themselves from products that they want. I honestly don’t support that too sometimes, because in this world not everyone that is rich, some people are very poor and cannot afford to buy some expensive foods, so therefore if they forbid themselves from foods that they want, it will seriously affect them. It can even lead to a sickness no one knows. So I prefer them to eat them, but in a balanced proportion inorder to continue being healthy. When you recognize certain foods as prohibited, your body will start to want more of it. In this case, if you fall into temptation, you will most likely experience a strong feeling of guilt or failure. In most cases, reducing portions of “banned” products and eating them rarely rather than usually is a more effective measure, you do not feel like you have to sacrifice your favorite food in favor of healthy nutrition. And as time goes on, you will discover that your craving for such food decreases. Yes it decreases as times goes on if you are rich and you can afford to buy other kind of foods by youself within a long period of time, but if you are poor and it is difficult for you to afford other foods and stuffs I don’t think it will decrease easily.

Though many people share the myth that healthy nutrition means counting calories and panicking about every sip of beer or chocolate, it is not true. The secret is not what people eat, but how they eat. Most often what they need is not a diet, but a revision of their eating habits. All the fats, carbohydrates, proteins should be in a balanced proportion. This includes split meals in smaller portions.
