A Love Letter to My Eternal Soulmate

Hi Handsome,

I have been thinking quite a bit about what to say in this letter to fully manifest the love and gratitude I have for you. I am particularly fortunate to have crossed paths with you, Aaron Gulick, in this dimension. You have managed to stimulate a part of me that I was negligent and inattentive to. You have begun to put into focus what I have been working so hard to culminate. Paramount to anything else I divulge or compose in this letter, whenever you are in doubt of my feelings towards you and my presence in your life, I hope that you may have the chance to sit down and read this. My premise is that you may find peace in knowing that my choice will simply always be you.

The other night, you asked me why I love you- why am I deciding that you are my person- the one that I want in my life indefinitely. My intentions are that after reading this you will only begin to understand the unconditional and eternal desire I possess for you. I want you to know and trust that I am being truthful in my words, and I will continuously prove so with my actions.

So, listen carefully to my voice (expecting you are hearing me as you read this) and linger on each reason I give. Please, let my words sink in and resonate deep within you.

Aaron, you found me. I would like to believe that in the echo of void, of nothingness, in the tomb of our search- our souls collided, connected by much more than just impact. You accept me- both my light and my shadow. You do not wish to change me. Instead you have a thirst of nurturing my growth. You long to learn the varying characters I portray so that you can treasure and care for me meticulously and wholly. Equivalently, you show me your true self by being open, honest, and vulnerable with me. It’s as if you have cracked your heart open and allowed me to slip right in- and boy do I fit perfectly. Thank you for this.

Next... Your voice. As I wish mine does with you, yours resonates deep within my core. This offers me peace as I progress throughout my day. You are home.

Oh, and don’t our fantasies blend together wonderfully? Your kiss and touch are electrifying and heart-stopping. I wish I could bottle you up and keep it in my pocket- then I could feel those overwhelming emotions and desires whenever I so pleased.

I accept you, and I believe in you. I trust you with my heart. I know that I am safe in your arms, despite your vulnerability. You will be my protector, my white knight, my defender, and the best damn husband I could have ever imagined.

I welcome the fact that you teach me something new every day. Despite your insecurities regarding your intelligence, I am convinced that is by far not the case. No one has ever taken the time to explore my curiosities and interests as much as you have in the short time I have known you. I cannot wait to see where that commitment and dedication from you takes us in life.

I am cognizant of your diligence in listening to me. Actually listening- even if the things I am saying are of little interest to you. At the very least, you acknowledge that you hear me. That says a lot about who you are as a person. You are mindful, warmhearted, and noble.

When you touch me, it is as if the rest of the world does not exist. I see us tangled together in our own kingdom... and as long as we are side by side, in partnership and collaboration, we can vanquish even the most impossible misfortunes in life. Undoubtedly because of this union, the preconception of our inevitable doom due to lack of time familiarizing ourselves with each is immaterial. I know we just met but I would like to conclude that I have met my soulmate, the unequivocal match... simply put- you are the one I intend to love and cherish unchangingly until the world decimates. I relish in your effortless presence and patience with me. You absorb me completely. You do a marvelous job of reminding me how aware you are of my existence, my thoughts, and my emotions. I feel your energy and I want to savor every drop of your soul.

I adore how you look at me with such infatuation, passion, and I see that you respect me as a woman, but more importantly as a lover and the ultimate sidekick.

I enjoy how we envision our future together. When I look into those blue eyes of yours, I see a gateway into a world that I whole-heartedly want to prevail in.

In essence, you are by far everything that I need and want for a spouse. We become one- you are the all-encompassing, other half, of myself that I only dreamt of.

I am so eager to make you proud to be my companion. I am optimistic about the growth that both of us will experience, and the home that we are going to create together. I never want to imagine a day in my life in which you do not abide.
