My Motivation to Study Mechanical Engineering and Project Management in Canada

Myself Idris Mohammed Gora, had completed my 10th grade with 89. 05% and 12th grade with 84. 61% in science stream from MMP High School affiliated with Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. After that I had completed my graduation in Mechanical Engineering with 7. 31(CGPA) from C. K. Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology, Surat, connected with Gujarat Technological University.

During my graduation i had taken part in various competitions. In third year of my college study i had participated in zonal level Technological competition and won the competition. In the last year of my graduation i took vocational training in essar heavy engineering and services at Hazira, Surat for one month and where my interest towards industry and mechanisam has started. I have learned overview of fabrication, CNC machining and other machinery related products which gave me practical knowledge related to my field.

After completing my graduation i have joined Erecto Fab Enterprises at Essar Heavy Engineering Services at Hazira, Surat as a Production Engineer in July-2015 and worked for two years. During my job period of 2 years i had realised that i need more detailed knowledge to make my carrier better and that's why i left the job in June-2017 and started preparing for IELTS exam. During this exam preparation period i had worked as part time in automobile company Kataria Wheelers, Surat as a Technical Advisor.

I had cleared my IELTS examination with 7 band(overall) and again started my old job as a Production Engineer in Erecto Fab Enterprises at Essar Heavy Engineering Services, Hazira Surat. My aim for visa application is to get study permit in Canada for my postgraduate studies in Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering at Fanshawe College. I have already got admission from this college. Family Background I live in a nuclear family with my parents and my two brothers. My father is businessman and my mother is housewife. my one brother is in Second year of B. com and another one is in 10th standard.

After discussing with my family members and friends whom are already in Canada i chose Canada is my destination for postgraduate studies Canada has one of the best universities and colleges for masters and postgraduate studies in the world. Furthermore, Canada holds the supreme position in following categories such as good infrastructure, government stability, multi culture society, quality of life, safety and security.

Main advantage of studying in Canada is its low cost education compare to other developed countries. In addition to this, Canadian educational degrees are internationally recognized and the Universities and colleges are classified among the top universities in the world. Canadian institutes concentrate more on providing Functional and Practical knowledge rather than text book oriented education. Indeed, the education from one of the developed economy truly gives me lucrative opportunities in future which will help me to build my reputation and value in India.

Why Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering and Project Management in Fanshawe College?

Fanshawe college is one of the most reputed colleges in Canada. It has a most talented and hard working teaching facilities in each departments whom provide better support to every students. Also, it has a very good infrastructure which contains buildings, libraries, recreation center, Internet facilities, etc. give students a way better platform to make their carrier better. The PEM will provide me better knowledge of mechanical engineering like CAD Fundamentals, blueprint reading and machining and welding.

This course will let me know more about Metrology along with tool design and industrial pneumatics. This course will also provides knowledge about designing the components using knowledge of manufacturing processes and also knowledge of materials and engineering principles to manufacturing operations. All of above subjects which i used in my job career so it gives me more detailed knowledge which helps me to make my career better. This program will assist me in my future career and make my abilities more sharp.

In the course of Project Management, I will learn more about project management, sharpening leadership and administrative skills. All of this will enhance my abilities to perform better at managerial level. This course will develop my inter-personal and intra-personal skills on the basis of project management which will help me to achieve my future opportunities.

Opportunities of field in India According to recent research report, it has been claimed that India will become the third largest economy in the world. Consequently, many international companies are participating in incremental growth of India. Opportunities are increasing day by day and companies of manufacturing plants will also in the need of employees to make India more advance in the technical world.

So these industries and companies require more skilled employees in the field of Quality Inspector, System Analyst, Technical Systems Engineer, Production engineer, Senior position in any project and leader in near future for their best outcomes. By the time I gain all required information, knowledge and practices from this program increases my chances to do work in this field. I want to pursue my career in the field related to Designing and Manufacturing under the roof of major companies and industries which help me to brighten up my future and open lots of new doors of opportunities for me in this vast world.
