Firstly, self-awareness is the value and meaning that an individual determines for himself as well as the aspects of personality, activity, and behavior. I have a lot of emotions, and it also has some impact on my work and relationships in life. Day by day, I always learn to self- determination, to find out their feelings, desires, and needs. If I depend on others to identify my feelings and actions, I will tend to receive their emotions and actions.
Instead, I always want to prioritize my own needs and desires by learning about myself. Moreover, I will have to try not depend on others to overcome the difficult situation. Secondly, self-management not only helps us to aware of our own and others emotions but also manage how they impact our ability to work effectively with others (Cherniss et al. , 1998). I am not good at managing my emotions and adapting to new things. So it is best to plan a difficult situation, determine my needs and values. Through the survey, the more exciting my experience, the easier it would be for me to enjoy life instead of fearing new things or strangers. I want to do something exciting every day and will stop thinking that everything ends up failing. From my perspective, empathy tends to happen spontaneously and produce different emotions depending on the situation. It has taught me that my self-awareness level is good but can use further improvement to help me relate better with myself and with other people especially at work where it is important for good performance (Cherniss et al. , 1998). Self-awareness is a training, something that develops over time and tries to give you strength.
We are always in a state of constant change, adapting to our cultural influences and personal experiences. The more I learn to be aware of your motivations, thoughts, and actions while still remembering the principles of fostering practical understanding, the more likely I will become in society. Finally, relationship management gives me opportunities for self-improvement and professional development in the future. By knowingly reaching out and trying to connect with the people you work with, you will develop more empathy. Empathy is a major factor in conflict resolution, cooperation, effective listening, and decision-making. Raising your social awareness and developing empathy will allow you to work even harder with your peers and help you be more accountable for your goals.
The assessment is very helpful in improving my professional practice since it highlights my strengths and my weaknesses (Cherniss et al. , 1998). Everyone has to deal with negative emotions at work, so learning how to handle these emotions is more important than ever. Emotional management skills need to be combined with self-awareness, ability to deal with others and stress response skills, and contribute to consolidating oneself in the future.
