Every single economy in the world is obligated to plan for and take care of its citizen. However, due to constant strain on resources in various parts of the world, there is a constant growth of gaps that mean human beings are forced to troop to countries that are considered to be economically stable. African immigrants for instance have been putting their lives on the line to find their way to neighboring continents for better lives. (Al Jazeera, 2015). Aside from economic conditions, wars have been an even bigger cause of migration. While it is never a problem if the opportunities available are enough for both the locals and immigrants, sometimes this is not the case and as such there is a strain on resources in the host nation.

With this in mind, it is wise that laws associated with immigration are adjusted to ensure immigration is strictly guided by the available opportunities without putting a strain on the host nation. This will ensure that some nations of the world do not carry much more burden than the others. It is not only the destination economy that is exploited by this act but also the source economies. This is because such economies, especially in Africa, lose their strongest and most intelligent work force thus considerably slowing down their development. It should also be noted that the adjustments made to immigration laws should not be done or dictated by one country or a group of countries since each nation on earth is an interested party. Forming a joint taskforce with representatives from all nations of the earth will be the first step towards a sustainable solution to this problem and thus a great result for a noble course.
