In the preface to his autobiography, Benjamin Franklin gives his son, the details of seven important reasons to write his life story. The first major idea of his autobiography address, remembered his happiness in assembling anecdotal narratives about those in his past and present family history. He ambitioned that other will be discovered satisfaction in his writing letter, as he has found it in others.

In brief, the writer desired to share the specific thing of his life that led him to triumph. Franklin aspired to his anecdotes to continue for the generation, and needed to satisfy himself his victory, bless, and ego. In the other circumstance, the author next address, Franklin spoke recalling his life is the upcoming principal thing to living life over again. If he could, he wished to change his previous life once more. In conclusion, the whole idea of writing this letter to his son is to sharing his memories and stories to persist for generation by putting it down in Writing. Also he wrote to Appreciate for his life and God.

Although Franklin did not serious religion person, He understood there is a power that helped him to fulfilling his life.If I were to write my autobiography today, I would not write like Franklin did. In my understanding, I observed two major reasons on his letter. The first one, the author begins with; letter mostly referred to his son, and wanted to correct his life inaccuracy if he gets a chance once. At the same time, he hoped to his personal autobiography letter to teach for his son as well as for the generation to learn from his former life experience; however, the reader did not know about the main clue for his previous life fault to perceive the message.

The writer also did not identify what kind of mistake did. The second reason, he mentioned about his successes and richness in his life, but he never apprised his son what types of achievement he did in his life. Generally, person prosperity can be evaluated in many ways, such as accomplishment in wealth, education, family, love, and others. In autobiography of Franklin letter did not notice any of them.

In summary, I think, in my understanding, Franklin autobiography writing letter was not a full of specified explanations about “his” stories. He wrote a general idea, and more complicated to understand the purpose of his letter. A final point, the purpose of a personal autobiography is to educate, and entertain their life story for a reader, but the writer never let for his son and people to know more and gets life experience from him for his life and God. Although Franklin did not serious religion person, He understood there is a power that helped him to fulfilling his life.
