It is a well-known fact that exercising dramatically affects individuals' lives. People that start exercising feel better about their bodies and minds, which makes them greatly happier and healthier. According to the American Heart Association, people should aim for at least 90 to 150 minutes of aerobic and/or dynamic resistance exercises per week. Even though exercising daily could be hard, its impact on individuals' psychological, physical and social wellbeing is excellent and could incite a more happy and joyful life.
Exercising is an excellent form of tension treatment. It calms strain and stress by focusing on the beat of your breathing, or the breeze on your skin. That way you are truly concentrating on your body and how it feels. As you work out you will enhance your physical condition quicker, as well as have the capacity to interrupt the stream of constant stresses going through your mind. Exercising is also a great source of endorphins which are chemicals produced by the body to relieve stress and pain and can also create a "high" that is safe, without the danger of addiction and overdose.
The physical effect of exercising is very much apparent as it is noticeable on your physical appearance, but exercising is also hugely beneficial for the heart as it reduces the risk of heart diseases and strokes. observational studies provide compelling evidence that regular physical activity and a high fitness level are associated with a reduced risk of premature death from any cause and from cardiovascular disease in particular among asymptomatic men and women. A point that is not primarily talked about within the realm of exercising is the social effect. It may not seem like it at first but exercising could affect your social life in some ways. For example, you are bound to meet different people and social groups as you are exercising whether it be in the gym or any other place you can exercise at and that would make someone try and familiarise themselves with those people and social groups. Another social effect is that exercising makes you more confident of yourself and with that, your insecurities would be less, and that would mean a more socially active you.
In conclusion, everyone should try and exercise regularly due to the three effects mentioned in the essay. First, the tension and stress relief that regular exercise brings. Second, the social benefits that comes with it and lastly for the physical effects that could change people's lives greatly.
