Have you ever experienced that you cannot concentrate on work when you have to finish to do? It is good to concentrate or focus when you want it to do. There is a various way to help you to get motivation for concentration. Especially motivation use for studying is called learning motivation. In learning motivation, there are two big categories. Internal motivation and External motivation.

Internal motivation is the motivation that learners have interest, attention in the study by themselves. They are interested in ‘study’ so they don’t need any motivation to focus on study. Unlike internal motivation, external motivations need some external sources to make interest to study. Whereas those who use incentive motivation to focus on the rewards that come after a goal is met and focus on reaching a goal for the sake of achievement. The purpose of external learning motivation is to make this motivation as an internal motivation to keep this as study habit. This process will need a lot of efforts and time. However, before discussing how can make motivation as a habit, in this essay, I would like to discuss 3 types of well-known and what I usually use in external learning motivations.

1. Achievement Motivation: Achievement motivation is a type of motivation that when you or others know that they will be a reward once a certain goal is achieved. Since there will be something to look forward to at the end of the task, individuals will regularly turn out to be more resolved to see the errand through with the goal that they can get whatever it is that has been guaranteed. A person with accomplishment inspiration wishes to accomplish destinations and advance upFor example, there is an upcoming test but you don’t want to study. For this situation, you can make a plan that after you finish your study you do what you really want to do or plan for having food you really like but you cannot have usually. To get those plan, you could focus on your study. The better the reward, the more grounded the motivation will be!

2. Publicized motivation: By making your goal as publicize, you get more pressure than you only know by yourself which can motivate you. If many people know your goal or plan, you are aware of a way of other people’s looking. It seems like other people are looking at you whether you are doing well or not. This stimulates you to do harder and tell them I made it. If you consider other’s perspective a lot, this motivation will help you.

3. Fear Motivation: The word “fear” carries a heavy negative meaning but when it comes to learning motivation, this is not necessarily the case. Anyone who is big on goal-setting and achievement realizes that accountability plays a huge role in following through on goals. Fear motivation makes a person act even though it is against their will. It powers individuals to takes care of not only studies but also business rapidly. In business point of view, since most of the business has a vertical structure, fear motivation works very well. The vertical structure that uses in business means employees should do whatever his or her boss said this could be done and as this culture kept for few decades this has been as a ‘business culture’. In this ‘business culture’, the boss has a lot of authority which he or she can fire employees. This is the main reason why employees fear their boss and finish their work fast and accurately. It is helpful in the short run. Because if it continues for a long run, people get tired so they couldn’t do which they were doing.

In general, view, when you become accountable either to someone you care about or to the general public, you create a motivation for yourself that is rooted in the fear of failure. This fear helps you to carry out your vision so that you do not fail in front of those who are aware of your goal. Fear-based motivation is extremely powerful as long as the fears are strong enough to prevent you from quitting. This is the well-known 3 types of motivations that help people to focus and study. Which types of motivations do you use? Is it one of the types that I describe? However, there’s no right and wrong in types of motivation so it doesn’t matter whether you use one type or many or no motivation at all. But the important point is that you use this motivation as a tool to reach your goals. If you don’t have any motivation type and you can’t easily focus on your work, why don’t you use one of them which I have described making you ‘motivate’.
