Many people for this assignment may do the main, technology-based innovators such as Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and all the main guys of large companies that are key to society these days. Well, I’m not like most people and neither is this modern day innovator I decided to do this assignment on. Almost everyone in the world knows and loves her. Beyonce Knowles-Carter or just Beyonce. You can probably hear the millions of fans screaming her name already. You may be wondering why Beyonce, isn’t she just a singer? Beyonce is literally Queen Bey. She is an entrepreneur, role model, investor, self-made musician, actor, businesswoman, and everything in between.

The beginning to the Queen Bey Era started in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981, the day of her birth. She spiraled into the talent business a couple of years after this by competing and winning numerous talent competitions and wowing the crowd with her voice and her ability to entertain at such a young age. This was just the tip of the iceberg because little did everyone know that this little girl from Houston, Texas was going to become one of the biggest names in the world.

Beyonce’s career has gone from little talent shows in Houston to an R&B all-female singing group called Destiny’s Child. When Beyonce was in high school, she created Destiny’s Child with her cousin Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. They soon were signed by Columbia Records and became one of the most popular R&B singing groups with chart-topping songs such as Say My Name and Survivor. After nearly 15 years together, Destiny’s Child Split up after Beyonce separated from the group to become a solo artist. Beyonce is now one of the most popular female artists in the music industry. She changed the playing field with her albums by doing things so out of the ordinary and beyond expectations. She made a name for herself and paved the way for her own future in the music business. Her visual concept albums and multi-dimensional ways of expressing creative freedom are truly one of a kind. She is actually the first female artist to have a number one song in the Billboard 200 with her first five studio singles. She also has an album which was the fastest selling album in iTunes history with more than 80,000 downloads in just three hours. Her most famous songs include Single Ladies, Halo, Crazy In Love, If I Were a Boy, Run the World (Girls), and so much more. It is honestly realistic to say that most if not all of her songs are well known throughout the world.

Beyonce has grown drastically throughout her career. She has grown into such an amazing, giving person. She funds and donates thousands of dollars to different charities and organizations such as Global Poverty and Education & Youth. Alongside famous actor Salma Hayek, they founded Chime for Change which is a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls and women around the world. Beyonce has donated a total of $500,000 to CFC where the money goes to health and education programs for women and girls in developing countries. It allows mentoring, counseling, and job training for girls in New York, and support for victims of sex trafficking in Los Angeles. Queen Bey has also funded Embrace Innovations which provides low-cost infant warmers and easier ways to help preemie babies in developing countries in order for them to live and thrive. The creation of scholarships and programs for young women was created to inspire more girls to get further education. Beyonce also has a co-founded The Survivor Foundation with her mother, Solange Knowles, and Kelly Rowland to help aid victims affected by Hurricane Katrina. Her humanitarianism in Texas, more specifically Houston, is amazing because she is getting back to her roots and helping those in need.

Now that you getting warmed up to her. I’m going to hit you with more reasons on why to love Beyonce and the empire she is creating from the ground up. For a person who did not receive their high school diploma, Beyonce has made a career for herself and at only 37 years old, she still will strive to improve society and herself in thousands of ways. She has spontaneously created an empire out of business and her music career. In 2018, she earned about $87 million through her endeavors which include publishing, musical sales, modeling, touring performances, films, fashion collections, endorsement deals, 118+ records sold, 10+ Grammys, television appearances, and 3 solo tours. She even launched a philanthropic hashtag, # BeyGOOD, which helps people who are homeless, unemployed people, and sick children. #BeyGOOD has helped Saint Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti raise money for the pediatric oncology intakes they have.

Beyonce Knowles-Carter is truly an amazing, empowering, strong woman and leader. She inspires millions of young girls and women worldwide. She is literally couple goals with her hip hop mogul husband, Jay-Z, since 2008 when they got married. In 2013, the power couple was named the first billionaire couple of the year. She has a whopping estimated net worth of $335 million. Beyonce is one of the most powerful, inspiring, beautiful, strong women in society these days. She is a storm to be reckoned with and will not stop to inspire and lead the young woman and the people of this generation to great success and self-power.
