What is a Perfect Family and Its Relation to a Perfect Life

What is a loving family? What is a perfect family? I won't write in this essay about family as a mom, dad, kids, and a pet. Turns out it's just people who care about you and people you care about. Myself I thought I had that. I was blinded in my own home. Things aren't always as they seem, people can be physically and mentally abusive, never trust everything people tell you and be aware of what's going on around you.

When I was little we moved to Colorado. It was a big step moving to another state but I was so little it didn't really bother me. I lived with my mom, aunt, uncle, mawmaw, and my pawpaw. Then in 2012 my little sister was born. I just turned 6 the day before she was born. I loved living there, the mountains, the snow, the fun. We all lived in this one house.It was fun, but not for my other family members. My aunt had a bad childhood, She would always get grounded, she was allowed to do anything. There wasn't one day where he wasn't stuck in her room doing nothing but staring at a blank wall, and when her brother needed help cause he would make him sleep in the snow with no blanket. She gave him a blanket and would get punished more. I had no clue this was happening.

To my uncle he was worse he would fight him when he didn't want a fight. He would make him sleep outside in the snow, freezing cold with no blanket for punishment. He would take all of his stuff, again I had no clue this was happening. One day he decided to kick my mom out for no reason a few months after my sister was born. She was trying her best to work to get us an apartment. She really only moved to colorado because her whole family was moving here. They were all she had. She eventually got enough money for an apartment. As for my grandma she would drink. He wouldn't come back until really late. And when he did he would be intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. He would come home and just break her stuff. All her stuff she had for years and gave to her by her mother before she died at a really young age.I had no idea this was happening.

Conclusion

For this reason I will always be more conscious. I really had no idea this was happening until recently they told me everything, I thought he was a good guy. I thought he would never hurt us. I was wrong. Family isn’t about having a mom, dad, kids and pet. It's about the love or hurt going on in the family.
