My Role Model: Selena Gomez

My Role Model is Selena Gomez. Selena Gomez has many nicknames such as Conchita, Selenita, Sel and Selly. Selena Gomez was born on July 22nd 1992. Selena is currently 26 years old. Selena Gomez currently lives in San Fernando Valley Community of Studio city in California.

Selena Gomez grew up in Grand Prairie Texas. Growing up Selena went to school at Danny Jones Middle School Texas with only getting her elementary education. Selena for what we know is that she has only pretty much just lived in Texas, New York City, and California. Selena Lives near Los Angeles but not directly in Los Angeles, but she claims that it is her home. And for her family Selena is an only child, and her parents are Ricardo and Mandy Gomez.

Selena Gomez has so many Occupations. Her Occupations are a Model, Philanthropist, Business person, Film Producer, Composer, stylist, song writer, singer, Dancer, Producer, voice Actor, and TV Producer. Selena has also won a lot of awards throughout her whole career. She has won over 70 Awards! Selena has won 3 Teen choice awards for her lead role in wizards of waverly place, and 5 kid choice awards 5 times in a row! So selena as you can tell is a very talented person who is loved by all.

Selena has gone through many obstacles but here is one that was very life changing for her. The Obstacle that was very life changing for her Selena was that she struggled with a lot of depression and anxiety. Selena was kind of doing alright when she first realized what she was dealing with, until she was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is a disease or condition when a part of your body becomes Red, Swollen, Hot, and is often painful, which would not be very pleasant. Selena than told everyone on social media that she was gonna overcome it by focusing more on her “Mental Health.” So she later on Overcame/Concord her huge obstacle.

I chose Selena Gomez to be my role model for many reasons. The first reason is because she is very beautiful and has a great personality. Another reason I chose selena to be my role model is because I love how great of an actor she is. And because I love her music a lot! Specifically one song called “Back to you.” I love this song so much because it reminds me of someone I love a lot. I also love Selena Gomez so much because she also has a quote that I really love. It says “Being yourself is all it takes if you want to impress someone else, just be yourself.” So a lot of things that Selena Gomez says always in a way connects with me.
