Nowadays problematic issue, such as nutrition in food, became more controversial subject in community. Nutrition contains chemical substances additives which are harmful for our society members. These additive substances are frequently used in industry sector and it is allowed probably everywhere, despite the fact that it causes many deceases. As a result, the members of the government should consider consumers interests and inform them about the contamination. Also government should control manufacturers strictly, and the awareness of about the additives by the people should be raised.
In the last decades discussion and arguing about chemical substances and additives, such as sodium nitrate and dextrin, is raising. According to Milada Broukal (2010), there are plenty of the chemical additives, such as dextrin, mono and diglycerides, potassium bromate, sodium aluminum phosphate, sodium citrate, sodium metabisulfate, and xanthan gum. All of this nutrition add its own specific taste in the food. Some of them are for turning food more fascinating and eye-catching, while another is used for food to be more tasteful. Also there is other chemical substance, BTS that growth the amount of the hormones in cows body. Exactly these hormones help cow’s to increase naturally milk yielding. Every chemical substance has its pros and cons, but about the nutrition there is more negative evidences, and there is described many deceases which are caused by additives. Broukal (2010), mentions what happens when people eat food by additives; For instance, nitrate can cause high temperature after chemical reaction. Also other substances cause cancer, mental distraction, headaches, and brain tumors.
On the other hand, Collins (2002), BTS also have its disadvantages because it is made by biotechnology using recombinant DNA technology and contains too much antibiotic which effects on humans, because humans are consumer of treated yields by chemical substances. As a result of allowance these chemical substances in our world, there is intense pressure on the federal government to ban unsafe substances in society. Every country has its own regulation about different food. According to Broukal (2010), in eighteenth century London was the capital of food and in 1860 the first food and drug was passed, but unfortunately all of the adulterated food is not banned. Similarly, Collins (2002), claims that there was many countries where BTS was not allowed, also the chemicals that is poisonous and they introduce regulation and label them. Nevertheless, in USA it was permitted to use BTS in 1994.
To sum up, there are many statements which is about nutrition consume risks, problems, negative and positive sides, and about government regulations. At last both authors think that there should be indicated the contamination on food label. Also it should be better to ban the foods which can cause deceases and have fatal effects on people health.
