There is an abnormal marvel that makes individuals act the manner in which they do. This is particularly evident when one individual is surrounded by unknown individuals. When one experiences this circumstance, they tend to cover up and endeavor to overlook the encompassing individuals. However, when there is only one individual present, their conduct is totally extraordinary. What is it about a person that influences them to act along these lines? Sadly, human behavior is so mind boggling; it is difficult to limit the real reason why.

By utilizing observation method, a wide assortment of behavior can be recorded. Picking through garbage in the streets can in favor reveal a behavior of a fast food customer, or sitting for just a single hour in the college flask can comprehend the gender contrasts in picking (abstain from food) meals, or watching a customer choosing which yogurt to be removed off the shelf in the store can likewise answer the inquiry: Are the customers be pulled in by its appearance or flavor or cost or brand or nourishment? The point of this observation task is to assess and clarify the diverse sorts of cooperation’s among individual and groups present, and additionally nature in which these connections happen. The field perception was directed at Jordan Creek town Center in Des Moines, IA. Sociological ideas relating to age, sexual orientation, and appearance were additionally noted and applied. I was at the mall Saturday October 6th, 2018, I sat by the food court way in the back by the entrance of the cheesecake factory.

With pencil close by, and note pad prepared, I started taking notes on the numerous perceptions. As I sat there I’ve noticed certain individuals looking at me with an awkward stare like what was I doing. Nothing specific stood out at me at first, I looked around, from table to table, and just saw the general things you would hope to discover at any shopping center food court. As I looked around I seen a lot of young adults with a group of their friends hanging out sitting at large tables or some even split up. There was older adults and families also at the food court. But most of the families were less disposed to approach the food court once they walked into the mall and started to scatter all through different stores in the shopping center. I additionally saw a lot security guards walking around making sure everything was okay.

As I look pass the food court I also see that most of the security guards are by the main entrance of the mall, near the movie theater next to the food court, and by the food court. As I wrote above most of the crowd were young adults because of the way they acted. One of the most imperative things I was focused on was the dialect use and the dress code. Young ladies dressed like it was 100 degree outside, however truly, it was underneath like 49 degrees and raining. Additionally, most of the young ladies were mostly stuck on their phones and not really paying attention to each other nor holding conversation. They young men were also the same way. You can really tell the difference between a group of young adults and a small group of older people.

As I overserved I’ve noticed that the group of young adults really didn’t hold conversation when they was sitting down eating their food. They were all on their phones and I’m assuming on social media taking pictures of their food and each other. As I saw the smaller older groups they weren’t really on their phones, but was having conversation and maintained eye contact with each other most of the time. The language of most of the group of young adults was horrendous. Foulness was everywhere. Sooner or later, I was thinking about whether any of those individuals went to, at any rate, high school. As I watched, I thought about whether those individuals act distinctively outside the shopping center.

At the mall they are allowed to express their uniqueness by putting forth a shocking fashion statement. Young women are depicted in commercial as a rule as images of sex or desire. Men are images of predominance and expert so they tend to dress all the more moderately. Which I realize why young ladies dress the way they do as I saw in the mall in my opinion, is because of physical attractiveness. As I said above you will usually see this happening in young adults because as I observe the area a lot of the older people really didn’t care much on how they looked or what they had on. The children at the mall were dressed appropriately and most of them were running around the table.

Overall, some of the behaviors I have written down above didn’t really surprise me because I’m very observative at the mall at home. I would’ve thought it would’ve been different from home and here in Iowa, but it wasn’t. People really don’t look at how they act in public areas because they are normed to the way they act and don’t realize how they really be acting. Social Media, advertisement, and technology had a major role in our certain people acted at the mall as I observed. Most of the behaviors weren’t new to me or wasn’t hard to explain.
