In order to show that animal cruelty is a social problem we should look at what qualifies animal abuse as a social problem, what makes people want to abuse animals, how does animal cruelty affects humans, what is the most common type of animal abuse, how can we stop animal cruetly, what animal cruetly has happen before?

To begin, what qualifies animal abuse as a social problem? Making pets or animals suffer with poor treatment. “All animal cruelty is a concern because it is wrong to inflict suffering of any living creature”. Suffering of an animal is a big concern. It affects the community in many ways. Some communities have banned animals because they are scared of this problem happening. The suffering of an animal is bad because animals are a part of our everyday life. We need animals to comfort people and help them. We don't want them being harmed because people don't feed them or forget to care for them. With all of this said, now we can see how animal cruelty is a social problem.

Next, people abuse animals for many reasons. Also, people who are abused might take their anger out on pets such as dogs. Pets are mostly abused by people who also get abused. people who have stress might not want to talk to someone about it. Which causes them to get mad and keep it in them and abuse their pets for no reason. That's why you should let yourself out and maybe use your pet to help you. Like say you have a dog their furry body can comfort your stress. These are some of the reasons why people abuse animals.

To continue, animal cruelty can affect people in many ways. It can break people's heart if their pet was abused or even killed. So that means that people who are mostly violent to animals are usually violent to people. And then the other people are affected by the actions of the person. Now, we have the most common type of animal cruelty. Neglect is the most common type of animal abuse. Neglect means to give little attention or respect to. “Because dogs are social prk animals, isolating them at the end of a chain causes them to anguish that can drive them to aggression, neuroses and self-mutilation behaviors. It's not ok to leave your dog stranded for days or even weeks. Dogs can get aggressive after being chained down for a long time, in the same spot. Also neglect means not feeding your pet or even not paying attention to them. Pets and regular animals need attention they help us in our daily lives. This is the most common type of animals cruelty.
